That's me, born 15-01-1951, still live and kicking !
I am Raju for some and Gopu for others , yet loved by all.
For me, 'love' has a universal connotation. Love and be loved by all. This is the essence of Yoga.  I am strongly of the view that we are in this Universe to do His bidding. Once we do our job, we will be recalled by Him. My wife Vimala, seeing me practicing yoga- asanas etc.  calls me "yoga master" and not a "yogi". She thinks that the Yoga that I practice is different from what I preach. But I don't believe in preaching. People learn by themselves. I believe in silent learning and working.

 Vimala's  world consists of me and the two girls only. Occasionally she looks back at her parents. But for that she spends  her entire time towards us. She, no doubt is  religious by nature but she tries to formulate and to found her own religion as well !
I am an engineer by profession. I belong to Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers since 1974. I had been in the northern and eastern parts of India although I belong to the south and stayed in south for long. My mother Smt. Janaki Pushpavanam lives with us. ( See her pic on the right)
 

Now I am posted as Divisional Railway Manager , Hubli, South Central Railway.     I took over on 8th May 2002.
