Okay, I don’t have time to make a cool nifty spiffy nice
looking web page. This gets the point
across just fine. Don’t complain. Anyway, here are a few points for the
scrapbook/slam book idea because I failed to mention them and some people might
have failed to realize this as well.

- Each person will be responsible for mailing
the book to the next person on the list. Yes, this means money but luckily so,
perhaps only a few dollars. If
this is a problem for me, please let me know.
- Participants are allowed to decorate a
page [or two] about anything they want. Do you want it to be a biography of
yourself? Do you want to bring
attention to a subject that you are passionate about? Anything—as long as it is appropriate
and will not offend those in such of ways like racism [duh] or any of that
shit. You are all pretty
considerate people so I am sure this will not be a problem.
- Ideally, I’d like each person to spend
about a week [at most] on his or her “mini-project”. This is a reasonable amount of time to
finish whatever it is you’d like to do.
Excessive possession of the book will be… frowned upon.
- If you don’t know what to put for your
part of the book, here are some ideas [however
don’t feel limited to these, be creative!]:
- Do you do photography? Pictures
of yourself, family, friends, pets, nature, etc
- Are you an artist? Drawings that you have done,
of other artists’ work you admire…
- Lyrics
of bands -- possibly not just limited to Bright Eyes!
- Collage
of images that represent you!
- An AD for something about the
world or the current news that bothers you or interests you
- Journal Write
about your day, an important event in your life, a significant person in
your life…
- Poetry—there
seems to be a lot of poetry posting in our community already but here is
your chance to write them down and decorate them for everyone to read!

Special notes to
participants; I will need all your first names and your
addresses. I think the best way this
will work is after I buy this book and do my share; I will mail it to the next
person on the list (probably whoever lives closest to me). After that person is done doing their share,
they will E-MAIL me for the name and address of the next person the list. Good idea? Yes? No?
