OC VP candidate Jones spoke briefly with George Stephanopoulos about OC Presidential campaign
OC VP candidate Dave Jones took a few moments to discuss the campaign for OC President with George Stephanopoulos today. When asked why he sought the nomination for VP under Thomas Walker, Jones replied, "Thomas Walker is a model citizen in the OC community. His contributions to the site have been immeasurable. He's a man that works hard to assist others, and his level of effort toward accuracy is second to none. I felt this was an opportunity for me that I could not let pass by when given the chance to serve under such a man."
When asked how the OC community would benefit by leaving partisan relationships behind in favor of the Walker-Jones ticket, Jones insisted that partisanship won't make the website a better place to visit. "Thomas Walker is a candidate that both Democrats and Republicans can relate. His message has been one of unity, and a unified website is a better website." declared Jones.
The Walker-Jones has been on a roll as of late. Both candidates have been very visible in the OC community trying to get the message out. "We think we can win this thing" Jones said, "We believe that the independents, non-partisan, and third party members at the site along with the independent minded members of the two major parties will see Thomas for the competent and charismatic leader he is."
