Thomas Walker continued his recreational vehicle trip across America today by stopping in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
From the steps of the state capitol, Walker thanked Metamorphosis and ILWeatherGuy for endorsing his campaign. "The groundswell of support that has been seen recently is just the beginning of a revolutionary change in the way people view politics", Walker declared. "Partisan labels of the past are being discarded, as the voters are seeking a candidate who exudes responsibility and leadership, and who will put the concerns and needs of all over the whims of a few."
"We are at the apex of a new day. Join with me and Dave Jones as we run roughshod over partisan bickering and logjamming of progress. Together, we will all win, and we are the best ticket running to serve and fight for ALL the members at OurCampaigns."
One person in the crowd asked Walker if he felt there should be a runoff between the top two finishers if noone topped 50% in the general election. "No I do not", stated Walker. "If that were the case in real life, 1988 is the last time we would not have had a national runoff for President. Plus, with the dates for terms of office, Unsaintly Leroy's term ends too close to the election date to have a runoff. We need a winner by plurality to ensure the voice of the people wins. This proposal reminds me too much of runoffs in the South, where minorities or their sympathisers were kept out of office by heavy handed and unjust runoffs. This is just another example of the two 'major' parties trying to keep a death grip on power, when it belongs to the people."
After a few more comments, Walker boarded the rv, and headed off for Denver.
