Last night at Manny's Roadhouse, something happened that forever changed the way that Acton sees music. At 11:15 pm, Onyx Angel began thier set with "State of Mind", recieving an overwhelming response that did not cease until the last note rangt out in their last, (and newest) song, "Fallen Angel". The crowd was held by Paul's captivating voice, Chad's inhuman guitar stylings, the Goat's psychotic stage antics, and new drummer, Gregory John's phenominal agility.
But still, no sooner did Onyx Angel step off the stage, when Trickline exploded into their set with screams from the crowd following. Brothers, Mike and Simon Vanderzand, along with bassist Mike Fowler all played with intense energy and amazing charisma. Simon blew the minds of onlookers as he dropped a stick at the beginning of a kit spin and landed every note single-handedly with unmatched presicion.
Upon reflecting on the show last night at Manny's, many people can't wait to see these two mind altering bands play together again.
