My Application <3

A Simple Welcoming Hello Amanda, and Welcome to my application. Let me just start by saying, I've always had a love for Draiks, like most people and this is one of the best oppurtunities that I have ever received. Please ingore the horrible add at the top. I highly dislike it, but since i'm using this website for free, please just ingore it :) Anyways, I don't think I could have asked for anything better than this. All for Ghaleone, whom I will continously call Leone, if that is acceptable to your taste. I realize that I may not stand a chance, either way thank you Amanda (: Also, I was extremely hesitant to send this application in, and I believe you have the right to know that. Not because I think I wouldn't be a good owner and not be able to care for him the way he deserves to be cared for, but because I don't have complete confidence in myself, and I don't believe that this application is anywhere near good enough for a such a special draik. That's just my personal opinion and it may differ from yours, we'll just have to wait and see. Either way, thank you for having the heart to put Leone up for adoption. So basically, this is my application, or the beginning of it, rather. Everything within this petpage will express my undying love for Leone, and will definitely strengthen it. Intro

Who am I? My name is Jamie, of course, i'm 17 years old. Neopets has been a hobbie of mine for around 4 years now. I'm a senior in High School, who hopefully will be a pilot one day :D I like music, I like to hang out in the FC and I love to paint. My favorite show is Three's Company and My Favorite movie....I'd have to go with Janghwa, Hongryeon aka A Tale of Two Sisters, or Chakushin ari aka One Missed Call. If you were wondering, their foreign movies, one is Japanese and the other is Korean. You should check them out if you like horror movies/psychology type movies. I currently live in New Jersey. I have 5 dogs, a kitten, a gerbil, 2 frogs, and a snake. I adore all animals, each one has something to wonderful give. I recently lost my other 2 cats, dog and cinchilla, but moving along I love animals, which is why I love neopets so much. If theres anything else, anything at all you'd like to know feel free to im me, even if you just want to chat ;) I have a tendancy to be extremely friendly if you havent guessed xD I am very interested in making Leone a permanent addition to my family for many reasons, all of which you will come across throught this application. I have many friends on this wonderful site who are currently trying to help me rebuild, since my main account was just frozen, along with my friends accounts, so we're all working together :) About Me

What To Do Plans This part of the application will basically tell you what I have to offer to Leone, and what plans I have for him if I have the pleasure to adopt him (: The Bare Necessities Like any pet, Leone will need necessities to keep himself going each and every day. He will never go hungry, as I usually keep my pets in the neolodge. Although, I am usually on neopets every day for a minimum of five hours, so I highly doubt I will ever be unable to care of Leone whenever he needs it most. Some of the things I will be purchasing for Leone in the future may seem a little pricey, but a few neopoints wouldn't be able to hold me back from meeting any of my goals. I would like to paint him Darigan, and although thats extremely expensive, I know I will get there. A petpet is a must, of course. I was thinking a White Flowper. It would match the personality I have given him very well and also match him color wise as a Darigan Draik. Leone would have his own hoard of toys, books and codestones bought just for him and him only. Some of which are in my shop, just as a glimpse so you can see how well I can provide stuff for him. He would be trained via the Mystery Island Training School. No, he would not fight, but I love trying to train my pets and knocking up the stats xD Books are a must, and since I only restock books, I have plenty left around for my pets. Beauty Contest; I've only entered Gerarrd in the beauty contest (who is now frozen) but I plan on doing so with Leone after I master how to draw a Darigan Draik well enough. So far, it looks decent. There is an example of him at the artwork section, but it's not colored in. I feel that any form of artwork is beautiful with or without color. I will have many colored pictures of him in the future, and if I am graced with the oppurtunity to adopt Leone! I just need to figure out how to work Open Canvas better xD Pet Spotlight; I've never gone for this before, but with the story i'm creating for Leone, I believe that I would have a good chance if I entered him in it (:

Stat Info Profile Name; Ghaleone Alias; Leone Gender; Male Age; Very young (exact age not known) Species; Draik Occupation; Wanderer (You may have to refer to the story later on to fully understand this) Color; Currently Cloud, hopefully Darigan in the near future. Personality; Very wise and independant. Despite his personal appearance, he tends to be very quiet and sweet. He prefers to speak with his mind other than his actions. Leone can be a little on the mysterious side, but he tends to always appear whenever he's needed most. Appearance; Leone's coat as a Darigan Draik is a very deep purple, mixed in with a very pale grey. At times, this color seems barely visible to the bare eye. As a Cloud Draik, his skin is a very light purple blue-ish color, and mixed in with that is white throughout his entire body. The colors ultimately blend together in large sections of his skin. Basically, the above states most of his characteristics. I intend on roleplaying him in quad roleplays as well as anthro everyone once and awhile. He will mainly roleplay with any other species since as a part of his personality, he gets along with anyone. A little more insite on his personality: Being a wanderer, Leone cannot for the the life of him sit still. He never spends more than two days in the same area, always feeling the urge to keep moving along. Prefering to be alone, he very rarely goes near any towns or settlements and gets very jumpy and nervous when around any other creatures. Not that he doesn't get along with them, he just tends to think rather negatively of himself- analyzing the things he says, worrying about how others are viewing both the words, tone, and posture he has - as well as believing that they aren't genuinely being friendly to him. Leone knows how to survive in even the most extreme conditions of weather and can forage for food and water easily. When alone though, he's usually in pretty high spirits. Something to happened to him not long ago, which will be revealed in his story.

The Now Written Tale of Leone. Story I can't even begin to tell you what happened that night. The night in which the carvings were engraved on that single tree, along with remnants of my heart and forgotten smile. That single night where fate was decided in an instant, and emotions were running through everyone's souls. It was just a typical day in the forests of the Haunted Woods. The wind was still and strangely, unlike most of the days that I have spent there. The wind rustled though the high trees, now bare from the gailing winds and harsh fall. I was only a child, searching for his mother. Leaves crunched under my feet, dead and frost bitten. What little leaves were left on the ever bearing pines shone earily in the moonlight. I shivered, teeth chattering. My breath came in steamy puffs, that floats under the lunar light before lazily dissapearing into the air. My body urged me to rest, or to run. Run for my life. I wondered, 'How did I get here?' It was at that moment that the smell of burning wood met my nostrils. Could it be? I slowly walked into a desserted forest, slowly creeping along the haunted cobblestones that were unfortunately sleeping between the path of salvation and torment. Not even the slightest chirp or movement was heard within a wide radius, only the whistle of the wind swoon through the leaves shifting them into whirlwinds and high gusts of wind were able to acknowledge your existence. I eyed a crooked tree. It was standing there demonically - staring at me in my eye like it was emitting the darkness within your soul. My eyes widened as a stroke of fear found its way to the center of your very core. A scroll ran towards the tip of my toes, just as a shadow slithered off into the darkness. My eyes narrowed, and you began to become one with the atmosphere. I opened the scroll gently - trying hard not to rip the faint mahogany parchment. Mouthing the words to myself, I began to read, just as I was sitting on that cobblestone that was the doorway to salvation and the exit to torment itself. That was the day that the curse was set upon me from a single mysterious scroll. What curse you might ask? The curse of being a wandering soul, without any family. The scroll explained what happened to my parents, how they disappeared without my knowledge, how they decided to disown me because they felt they couldn't provide for me and raise me correctly. They were too scared I would turn out like their other children and they thought it would be best if I raised myself.

The Crazy Bunch Family Ciinda; Faerie Wocky Despaire; Make Usuki Usul Ciinda was given to me by my lovely friend Carima (ladyxima). She's not as vain as other Faerie Wockies and never puts anyone down. She finds the good in every person and pet, and adores them for it. She's very clingy, and overly social. Despaire was a dream pet of mine for quite a long time. He's a loner, but only because there aren't that many Usuki Usuls around Neopia. He is a very spoiled and vain boy, but I adore him all the same no matter what his personality is.

Roleplay Example Roleplay The world was distorted in the eyes of the Draik, as rainwater trickled down his shaggy forehead and into his optics. A grunt was issued after shaking his shaggy head free from water droplets, and he continued to walk towards the clearing. Luminous red optics darted, flickered, trying to see the way from the trees. His heavy footsteps were accompanied by the sound of sorrow. Shadowed tassle swung limply, almost lifelessly. Finaly the edge of the trees came to sight and a grin was placed seeing as the journey was finally coming to an end. He stepped out of the dark forest into the equily dark clearing, moonlight wiping the shadows from him. The wind outside was screeching now, moaning and howling across the land. As it pushed the clouds across the sky, light from the strange star Leone had seen shone in the through. He was busy thinking fearfully of the next days adventure, and he hoped more then ever that nothing in the pass had ever happened.

I know that she would most definitely love to adopt Leone and would take the best of care for him. If she's willing to apply for your pet, I know she'll spend days on it, aggravation, and the like. Your pet could only gain from having The Jamie take care of 'im. She has worked ever so hard to achieve her goals, but recently had her account that held her cherished Pirate Krawk and Faerie Draik put to rest for silly reasons. Please, do not choose Jamie out of pity, she is a hard worker and will treat Leone to the greatest lengths of her ability. If ever I were to go away on holiday I would trust Jamie competely to look after my NeoPets. Jamie is an excellent person with a good heart. The way to a new home Transfer Since i'm quite a paranoid person, and I know that almost every foster likes to know something about how an applicant transfers I thought I might as well add this section in. I always transfer with the help of another person. Most of the time it is my lovely friend Pea(pocketpea) that helps me out. The more people helping to catch the pet, the more comfortable I feel :) I made a list of successfully transfered pets for you minus the ones that are frozen now. 775, Apjui, Zarrinous, Dariibella, Ruijen, Kittyish_, Eberhar, Dystiin, Ciinda, Kindrin, Preque, Despaire and Bunnyeh. So, as you see, I am rather confident that the transfer will go fine if I am chosen as Leone's new owner.

A Simple Farewell Farewell Alright then, Amanda. I suppose this is the it. My application is over, and I hope you can notice the effort and heart I put into it. It may not be the best, but I did everything I could have possibly done, and I just hope you realize that.
