the story
Nervous Flight Capital was started in June 2001.
Matt Crowder, Joe MacGowan, and Shaun Waters had been playing in bands together since the age of roughly 15. Most were Metallica-like and gothic. Then they started playing more mellow, rocking, rock. They had a few bass players. But then they met Christina Miller in a record shop. They all came over to her basement for a jam, and before they knew it, the band was complete.
Playing their first show at EP Taylors in Oshawa, the band made some new friends and some new fans and played even more shows at the Dungeon and the Lovin Oven to name a few.
The Oshawa music scene is looking up!
