Definitions

Culture- here I use culture as the behavioral and belief system of a group of people.  It can be used to specifically differentiate between different groups of people.  

Society- In these essays, society is used as the idea of division between the individual and the outer social world.  It is generally thought of as an organized system as well.  We generally operate as parts of societies.  A culture would be a specific form of a society.   

Environment- This includes everything that affects a person when they start existing.  From the UV rays from the sun, to your interaction with people and animals, to the feel of your bed. 

Wants- things people want.

Needs- wants that are derived from DNA.  For example, food, socializing, sex, etc.

Desires- wants that are primarily derived from your social environment.  That new SUV, Calvin Klein underwear, money.  Desires are usually used to achieve a certain need or combo of needs.
