I am known to you mostly as a person involved in Tamil Heritage Foundation and related Tamil Computing activities and for few others as a student of Tamil literature. But professionally I am not these. I have so much of love for Science both basic and applied. I was highly motivated by Environmental Movement started in the US by persons like Rachel Carson in the 70s as much as I was motivated by Modern Poetry movement by Vanampadikal in Tamilnadu in the same period. So I use to 'cut' my classes and read books on Ecology and Tamil poetry!! I pursued these interests of mine till today.
Govt. of India has interviewed me for its on-line Journal called ComCom on Environmental issues that affect us. Vigyan Prasar is considered as the first On-line e-zine for Popular Science from India. I was honoured to be on those pages along with other eminent Scientists of India.
