Mummy Fingers Recipe
These may seem difficult, but there's really nothing easier! And they look so fabulous surrounding a bowl of Dead Man's Hand Punch....

What You Need:

  • 10-pack hot dogs
  • 20 thin pretzel sticks
  • 20 shelled, unsalted pumpkin seeds
  • 2 or 3 string cheese snacks
(depending on how wrapped you want your mummies!)
  • Mustard in a squeeze bottle
  • baking sheet with light coat of cooking spray

Directions:
Pre-heat the oven to 300 deg F. Cut the hot dogs in half across the width, so you have 20 finger-shaped halves [1]. Gently push a pretzel stick into the cut end of each hot dog until only a little bit is sticking out (this is the "bone") [2]. Wrap shreds of cheese around the hot dogs, leaving about a half inch uncovered at the rounded end [3]. Lay the wrapped hot dogs on the baking sheet. Repeat until all the hot dogs have a "bone" and "bandages". Bake until the cheese is slightly melted, remove from oven, and cool on a wire rack. While the hot dogs are cooling, add a "fingernail" by gluing on a pumpkin seed with a dab of mustard. Serve cooled so that hot cheese doesn't burn anyone's fingers! (SERVES 10-20)
