Bloody Bowtie Pasta
Pick up bowtie pasta at your local 99 cent store to keep the cost of this main dish down- your wallet will thank you. The tomato sauce base is rich in the antioxidant Lycopene, too!

What You Need:

  • 3 small packages wheat bowtie pasta
    (those with gluten allergies- gluten-free egg or spinach noodles taste just as good!)
  • leftover sauce from the Blind & Bloody Eyeballs
    Note: If you make the sauce from scratch, halve the amounts from the B & B Eyeballs recipe.
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped & pitted black olives

Cook the pasta according to the directions and drain. Add the leftover "blood" sauce, the sour cream, and the black olives. Cook over a very low heat, stirring frequently, until the sour cream has melted in. Remove from heat and stir well to mix, if everything hasn't already. (SERVES 8)
