Switzerland
"Thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful expression of gratitude to the Swiss people and the government.

As you mentioned it, many nations were affected by the terrorists attacks of September 11, 2001. People in Switzerland were deeply shocked about the attacks and an unprecedendented wave of sympathy and solidarity for their American friends has swept across the country. The Swiss authorities shared these sentiments.

Very recently, on December 11, 2001, the Ambassador Blaise Godet, Head of the Political Affairs Directorate of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs made a commemorative address for the three-month Remembrance Event of the September 11 Terrorist Attacks. Concerning the measures taken by Switzerland to fight terrorism and the financing of it, on December 19, 2001, Swiss authorities have produced a report in response to a request made in Resolution 1373 of the Security Council, which was unanimously adopted on 28 September 2001. I hope that our countries will continue to help each other in the future. Thank you again for your nice and encouraging message which is really appreciated. - Corinne Lyon Künzle, Press and Information Secretary, Swiss Embassy

"Thank you for your support Josh. It really means a lot to us. "On behalf of Ambassador Moreno, allow me to acknowledge receipt of your e-mail and to thank you for your thoughts about Colombia.
