Games You Made

This thread is for anyone and everyone who has tried their luck at throwing together a game or two. Whether you are a professional programmer programming straight code, or a complete amateur using Gamemaker, KNP, CNC, MMF, Darkbasic, etc. This is not platform specific. If you have programmed for the Atari, C64, Amiga, or PC... It should be interesting to see what everyone has put together. Please participate and post your links and games. Also, it'd be nice to have a screenshot and/or explanation for each.

I'll start. Growing up, I always wanted to program my own games. I was a bigtime nerd; In school I drew sprites and game ideas on graph paper when I should have been doing my Math homework. So a few years back when I heard that there were a few programs out there that helped you make your own games without writing a single line of code, I was stoked!

I bought a copy of Klik 'n Play and got started. At first I didn't want to focus so much on drawing graphics as much as learn how to use the software, so I used old game ideas and stole sprites from other various games - so don't laugh at me too hard. :-)

All of the following games require the Vitalize plugin. The first two will run inside your internet browser. The last two are standalone executable files. *All of these are a little bit buggy*

1) Solomon's Shrine. This was my first attempt at creating a game with the Klik 'n Play Software. It is my own sequel/recreation of Solomon's Key. Use <">, , and the arrow buttons to Control the wizard, Dana.

2) Quest For Shaori. This was my second attempt at creating a game. It is slightly more original, but I still stole and modified sprites from various other games. The gameplay is kind of a combination of Eggerland/Lolo, Zelda, and Solomon's Key. Use the , and arrow keys to control Sam (a kirby sprite... LOL!)

3) Trespassers. This is my third attempt at making a game, and was an experiment on my way to creating my fourth game. It is a combination of Breakout and Space Invaders... and again uses stolen sprites. Use the mouse to control the paddle.

4) Intruders. This is a rehashed version of Trespassers made with my own hand-drawn graphics. I have a short attention span, so after a few days I grew bored and quit messing with it. It is very playable, but only partially what I had hoped it would be. This is the only one I still have the source for, so maybe someday I'll get back to playing with it.

Okay, your turn. It should be fun to see all the games that everyone made, or tried to make over the years. Heck, maybe some of these will give the real programmers some neat ideas for some homebrew Atari games... :-D
