Bhojpuri - The Global Indian Dialect

This group intends to be a fun site of bhojpuri speaking people of India and abroad. Bhojpuri, a form of Hindi, is a most popular Indian dialect spoken mainly in eastern UP, Western Bihar some part of Nepal. This dialect has gone to the different parts of the world along with the people of this land when they left India for a better livelihood, be it Fiji, Mauritius, Trinidad & Tobago, Surinam, Singapore, Malayasia, Guyana etc. Bhojpuri has flourished along with its people at all places. The Bhojpuri and its people are characterised by their frankness, straightforwardness and their melody in the accent. Tulsidas and Kabirdas, the most popular Sufi saint of India, used Bhojpuri to pass their messages to world. This bhojpuri has given a number of stalwarts to the world.
