The Master - Parody of The Wizard

Jimmy Lee

Our main man. Jimmy Lee was a rising star in the world of video game competition until one day his best friend Woovelt died. Jimmy Lee first met Woovelt in California sitting on top of a San Francisco Rush Arcade machine. While racing with Woovelt at his side, he set world record times in San Francisco Rush. Ever since their meeting, Jimmy has had much success in the International Gaming League. Although he has not yet attained the rank of game "Master", quite a few spectators believe this young 14-year-old gamer has the potential to become one.

Unfortuanately, one day Jimmy discovered Woovelt shattered to pieces. Heartbroken over

his friend's death, Jimmy has sworn off video games. With his talents dwindling he does little more than spend his days staring at a static TV screen occasionally uttering the word, "Calfornia" (where he and Woovelt first met.) Will Jimmy ever fully recover from his friend's death and find out if he has what it takes to become the next Master?

Woovelt

What can be said about Woovelt that the picture doesn't already explain? To many he just looks like a little plastic box. Not many people seem to believe he is more than that. But to Jimmy, he is his closest friend who's been at his side through the good games and the bad games. It would appear that he was killed by being crushed by something unknown. The only clues are his shattered remains. Jimmy still carries the shards of Woovelt in a plastic bag close at his side.

Billy Lee

Billy is the cousin of Jimmy Lee. He is a bit of an eccentric gamer(although, who isn't). He revels in video game lore to an obsessive degree, to the point that some people can't even understand what he's saying. Though not a particularly skilled gamer, Billy's knowledge of video game lore is second to none. He has been very supportive of Jimmy's quests in gaming and seems to be the only other person beside Jimmy who believes that Woovelt exists.

Since recently moving back into Jimmy's town, he has tried to get Jimmy to start playing video games again. One day, when he visited Jimmy's house he discovered that Jimmy's misunderstanding parents intended to send Jimmy to a home seeing how he could not get over what they perceived as an "imaginary friend's" death. Fearing what could happen, Billy decides it's time for Jimmy to escape. Billy later convinces Jimmy's parents to reconsider their decision as he starts to get Jimmy back into gaming again.

Rhythm

As the name implies she's got rhythm. A gamer well grounded in reality, her specialty is in music oriented video games. She bested Jimmy in a Dance Dance Revolution match at a video game decathalon held at Edgar's house. However, she also saw the great potential he had as he dominated 9 out of 10 games in the decathalon. And he did so coming nearly fresh out of retirement. Impressed by his skills, she helps support Jimmy in making his return to gaming.

DarkDOOM

Not much is known about this mysterious figure that some gamers call "The bane to all of gaming". His mere presence inspires fear and his gaming skills have been known to drive some opponents mad. Just the utterance of his name can send shivers down most gamer's spines.

Gary

A relatively unknown gamer in the International Gaming League, Gary has won quite a few victories locally. He usually plays games by his own rules and has even been dubbed by some as "The Game Shark". Will Jimmy be able to beat Gary at his own games?

Other notable figures and lore in the world of The Master.

Masters

There have been very few Masters in the history of gaming and it is the most prestigious title a gamer can earn in the International Gaming League. Many gamers strive for this title but never reach it. Even fewer gamers can maintain their status as Master. A Master is a gamer who is good at just about every game out there. It is not enough to be a Master in a singular gnre of gaming, a Master must demonstrate a high caliber of skill across the board. Only one gamer can hold the title of Master at a time. Due to the challenges involved a Master is a very rare breed.

Minions

These mysterious figures are the loyal henchmen of DarkDOOM. Though not quite as intimidating as DarkDOOM, their presence strikes fear in most gamers.

Gamers

The variety of gamers that Jimmy faces in the gaming decathalon at Edgar's house.

International Gaming League

The official videogame league that organizes and holds international competitions. It is at the championships where gamers go to prove themselves. In the past, Jimmy was the champ in his region but ulimately lost in the final rounds. Will Jimmy ever get back what it takes to become a competitive player in the International Gaming League?
