Located in Old Spring Hill, about Ό mile west of the Methodist Church on the north side of the road. It is in a bad condition and there may be more that we could not see for the undergrowth and fallen trees. Copied 1968 by Ruth S. Allen.

Lane, Jane O. (Kornegay) Aug 17, 1809 – May 14, 1840 wife of Levin B. Lane

Mauldin, Leah Margaret died Nov 6, 1837 wife of Littleberry Maudlin and the youngest daughter of Levin and Nancy Lane formerly of N.C.. Died in the 21st year of her age.

Mauldin, Nathan Littleberry Dec 26, 1834 – Sept 10, 1847 son of Littleberry and Leah Margaret Mauldin.

Mauldin, Julia Frances Aug 31, 1825 – Oct 22, 1846 wife of L. Mauldin and dau. Of Dr. Alex and Winnifred B. Sledge. Also the infant dau of Littleberry and Julia F. Mauldin, who sleeps in the arms of it’s mother.

Sledge, Dr. Alexander died in Ala Aug 12, 1961 age 74 years, born in Halifax Co., N.C.

Sledge, Ann Maria, Aug 31, 1818 – July 25, 1857 dau of Alexander and Winnifred B. Sledge, Winnifred B. May 3, 1799 – Sept 26, 1847 wife of Dr. Alexander Sledge and dau of Levin and Nancy Lane.

Mauldin, Littleberry April 19, 1800 – May 27, 1866

Williams, Mary Elizabeth June 3, 1806 – June 18, 1844 wife of Gideon G. Williams and dau of Levin Lane.

Lane, Mrs Nancy (Bryan) Dec 5, 1781 – May 12, 1854

Lane, Nathan B. Feb 19, 1812 – Feb 22, 1885

Borden, Mary Ester June 13, 1838 – Oct 7, 1849 Age 11 years and 4 mo. Dau of Joseph & Sarah Margaret Borden.

Borden, Sarah Margaret March 12, 1819 – Feb 26, 1842 wife of Joseph Borden and dau of James R. and Mary Bryan.

Bryan, James R. Dec 23, 1786 – Oct 1, 1834 youngest son of Col. Nathan Bryan of N.C.

Sledge, Levin Alexander Infant son of J.N. and Fidelia Sledge died Aug 29, 1869 age 5 days (this stone was scattered, we placed it together and believe it went on a brick buidup grave about 3 ft long.
