What is yoga?
__________________________________________________
Yoga existed in some form for thousands of years and it is best described as the union of the individual self with universal self or union of the physical body with the mind and spirit .
The practice of yoga will bring many benefits such as flexibility, strenght, peace of mind and awarness. Through asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing techniques) and meditation deeper awarness and connectedness of the body and mind is experienced. This is the beginning of the healing process.
Yoga offers the methods that are universal and other than improving your health and getting in great shape, toning and sculpting your body, gaining the strength and flexibility – yoga will help you to relieve the stress, manage your life better and enhance personal spiritual growth

The decision to teach came from her own experience and the dramatic way yoga changed her life and helped her to deal with the difficult situations in her own life. Very early, in her own practice, Lidija experienced the healing benefits of Yoga and felt the strong need to share that knowledge and to help people.
Teaching Yoga has been a great journey for her and a lifetime commitment. She has seen people from all walks of life benefiting from it, improving and changing their lives (regardless if they came because they needed to relax, lose weght, ease back pain, deal with depression, be fitter, mentally and physically or to find the spiritual meaning).
Lidija's life goal is to help as many people as she can to improve their life and health through developping awarness and benefits that committed practice yoga inevitably brings to ones life.
