Most massage sessions incorporate several techniuqes, but feel free to request any technique you like (ex. Shiatsu or Esalen).
You may experience some discomfort during a deep tissue massage, this is normal. As toxins are released from the tissues, and the muscles begin to release, you may feel some discomfort. This is when it is most important to breathe and let go of the tension in that area. However, if you feel any pain, inform your therapist immediately.
You may feel some discomfort the day after your massage, this is normal. Some gentle yoga stretches can help.
Keep your massage therapist informed of any changes in your health, or if you start taking new medication

You should drink plenty of water before and after your massage to assist in the flushing out of toxins from the body.
You understand that any illicit advances or remarks will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of your session.
You will be asked to fill out a health form and to provide your contact information as well as answer questions about your general health.
You will be draped (covered) during the entire massage. Only the part of the body being worked on will be uncovered.
The massage will address the head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, feet, and back. If you prefer to avoid one of these areas (for example, you have sensitve feet), please inform your therapist. You may also request to have more time spent in one area (for example, the back and shoulders).
