Hardcore 50's Metal

Southington CT has a new adition to local bands, one so different, her name is knopka. She sings like a butterfly and stings like a bee. She is the start of a new genre of metal, hardcore 50's metal. Not 'Nu Metal, not Rap Metal, but a clasic start, Hardcore 1950's (50's) Metal. knopka.

"We don't want to be like every other band these days, dress in black and sing about death. Instead we wanted to have our own genre, own sound, nothing like some bullshit big wig cartoon gothic sellout 'Nu metal scene. Our own dress style, our own distortions ripping the hands and limbs off any who encounter are sound." Dan Costa, geetarist.

6.17.03 Today Krap Hed and Dan got together becuase Dan had some jolly golly guitar riffs. Soon bass and geetar combined after hours of frustration to start the best song they've ever created. More info leading up to this point in band history... 6.18.03 Krap hed and Dan had another band meet today which completed there song, 4ft. After more hours of mistakes and 3rd verse practice, the song was complete. Knopka is planning on another band meeting soon enough with Will Windecker maybe Sunday. We will update you more on that soon...
