General Preferences

[1] This text box lets you choose a "default hotkey list". A default hotkey list is the list that KeyExpress will automatically load on startup. Clicking the "..." button on the right will allow you to browse for a list.

[2] This box lets you adjust the modifier key for the KeyExpress hotkey.

[3] This box lets you adjust the main key for the KeyExpress hotkey.

[4] The OK button will save your settings and return to the main window.

[5] The Cancel button will discard any changes and return to the main window

Startup Preferences

[1] This setting determines whether or not KeyExpress should be loaded on Windows startup. Check this if you want hotkeys to work right when your computer boots.

[2] This option determines if hotkeys should be enabled when the program starts up.

[3] This option will determine if the New Hotkey List Wizard should pop-up when the program starts. This is checked by default.

[4] Hide on startup will do exactly what it says: it will hide the main window when the program starts up. Make sure that the Default to wizard interface is unchecked when you use this option, otherwise the wizard will show up but the main application won't.

[5] The OK button will save your settings and return to the main window.

[6] The Cancel button will discard any changes and return to the main window
