     The 11th Hour's first full year in operation started out with a January Audition Workshop at the newly constructed Sidney Middle School.  The 11th Hour was asked by teacher and drama director Linda De Velvis to assist her students with auditioning techniques in anticipation of upcoming drama auditions.  Free of charge, Michael J. Taylor and Bill Zimmerman, Jr. assisted the students, teaching several games and methods to use when preparing for an audition.  More that twenty-five students were in attendance at the workshop.  Everyone had fun and learned a little, too!
     In February, our first session of
Acting Classes got off to a good start in both Sidney and Piqua.  The classes were held at First United Methodist Church in Sidney and Greene Street Methodist in Piqua.  The classes were week-long ventures serving students in grades 6-8.  Students gained a knowledge of theater terms as well as the confidence to put their own experiences and thoughts into their performances.
