Living the life!
Mood: Now Playing: Good verses for your situation! Topic: The Word! 1 Corinthians 7:17 Everyone should live the life that the Lord gave him when God called him. This is the guideline I use in every church. 18 Any man who was already circumcised when he was called to be a Christian shouldn't undo his circumcision. Any man who was uncircumcised when he was called to be a Christian shouldn't get circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing, and the lack of it is nothing. But keeping what God commands is everything. 20 All people should stay as they were when they were called. 21 Were you a slave when you were called? That shouldn't bother you. However, if you have a chance to become free, take it. 22 If the Lord called you when you were a slave, you are the Lord's free person. In the same way, if you were free when you were called, you are Christ's slave. 23 You were bought for a price. Don't become anyone's slaves. 24 Brothers and sisters, you should remain in whatever circumstances you were in when God called you. God is with you in those circumstances.

Angels Unaware!
Mood: Topic: The Word! Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Just plain and simple....Yet I know in this day and age...things are increasingly wicked. People are mistrustful as well as believers....On FaceBook of which my daughter got me to sign up....I thought at the time with as many sites, blogs and ministry sharing online I share and upkeep, I did not need to FB, we could converse by phone. Yet it was my daughter wanting me and basically it was a way of sharing with her, so I did... It all turned out to be a serendipity because I was introduced to people from all over the world...some nice, some not so, and some strange, and to be fair maybe you were looked at as strange from their view. Yet for many you interact with them in much the same manner as you would a neighbor! The nicest thing is being reconnected with people I grew up with some from "hana-bata days (Local slang for snot-nose days or childhood times)... It was amazing to see how much they had not changed, and refreshing also. One friend it has been over 40 years since I last saw him yet we were close and were reconnected...I have not changed much maybe excepting for what the Lord has done in me. I'm Still out-going reaching out, yet in this day and age people are distrustful and I found myself harboring the same view at times, I mean Hey! Look at the news...things "IS" whacked, yet I am wanting to guess , but knowing that is where "faith in God" comes in.... As a boy, I used to hear those stories of during the great depression of the last century of people showing up on peoples doorsteps, total strangers needing a meal, or lodging for the night etc. etc..and they were accommodated..things were simpler then, and people trusted more...now things have grown more wicked it seems...the sins now are more prevalent than the sin that preceded the great depression..times when even pastors, and priests are not trusted, nor other benevolents..and now once again we are encountering more and more strangers...Some may be angels that we are unaware of, no matter how grungy they look. Now as believers we are called to show kindness, and God's love to others...those who love us...even more so to those who hate us. To those who are strangers to us. God gives us a brain to use and a knowing in our spirit. Just know He has His angels watching over us also, and sometimes we entertain them unawares....... May your day be blessed! In Him, Brother Timothy

About Father God!
Mood: Now Playing: Get to know HIM More! Topic: The Word! Some of the references of Scripture are from CBN’s 21 Day Habit: Day 8 about: GOD THE FATHER Psalm 103:13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. Psalm 68:5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. Isaiah 63:16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting. Proverbs 3:11-12 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Matthew 6: 31-34 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Hebrews 12:1-13 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

It is what it is....Sin! (We all are sinners....Romans 3:23)
Mood: Now Playing: When the hook is cast, and the fish bites......Been there and done that...ouch! Topic: The Word! I was reading tonight of the fall of an NBA official, and his video interview...interesting but a reminder of how sin, and the lure of it effects us all.... Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; In dealing with sin, even after one comes to the Lord...we must be on guard. All sin, including myself. I try not to yet I am reminded that I am in need of Jesus. Reminded of coming to Him not just daily, but seeking to be aware of His presence in my life minute by minute.......He is there...ever watching, ever protecting, ever encouraging, and yes ever correcting. The interesting remark in this article is that when pointing out that the ref bet on his own games he officiated...saying " had never had it so good. A referee in the National Basketball Association, he loved the limelight, was considered one of the NBA's better refs and was making almost $300,000 a year." " Donaghy says being a referee was his dream job. "I had the opportunity to run up and down the court with the greatest athletes in the world. I just loved the game of basketball growing up and my goal was to somehow be a part of it." "It was a dream situation all around," he added. "And then you committed the cardinal sin. You started betting on NBA games including games that you were reffing yourself," Simon remarked. "What were you thinking?" "Obviously, I wasn't thinking to cross that line," Donaghy said." end quotes..... Obviously, not thinking to cross that line........is the key snag...in sin that leads to grievous depths, there is that deeper lure....there is that line that is far off that the one committing the sin knows they will not cross it. It is like being on a diet, yet you pass through the kitchen, and smell a fresh pie, thinking ..."oh only a wee bit won't hurt anything!" Then after one slice then maybe another or two then wala!...no pie...stomach ache...personal resolve done in...etc etc.. Oh if I sleep with that secretary in the office just once ...hey my wife won't find out....then once, and the excitement of forbidden fruits, then again and again...then pregnancy...or disease...or being found out ...disgrace and divorce...etc... James addressed this problem in his writings....James 1: 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Now in all of this we believers should note that God will and does deliver us from temptation if we want it.......1 Corinthians 10 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. my paraphrase: Temptation is nothing new, everyone has and will be tempted even regularly. Now God is faithful in that He watches over us and He will not let us be in a position to be tempted beyond our will power.... for along with the lure put before you , if you seek Him and look there will be an open door He has provided for you to avoid it... (T.T. Paraphrase) Now you may find that you have stepped into something that has spiraled on you, and your walk has been effected. That one little "sin" has grown into a full addiction, or has yeasted your bread to where it has grown to a large proportion....God is saying...come unto Me! Lay it all at His feet and let Him walk you through it all.... 1 John 1: 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. That is His promise! If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.....now this does not mean you will not have to catch some doo-doo from the world and even carnal Christians about your actions... guaranteed you will. It does mean He is faithful to forgive you and see you through! In closing...I cast no stones...I do not have the right, and do not want to...I have no grudges from the past. I remember the slights, by me and by others, but look at them now in a different light...Romans 8:28...if I bring up an incident from the past it is not to gripe but a statement of fact, and also per chance to speak of His Faithfulness...in deliverance! Now as for this ref...I see someone that can be used greatly as a mighty man of God if He comes to Christ, because that is how, I am sure Jesus looks at him if he will come unto Him.......How about you? There is restoration! Blessings In Him, Brother Tim P.S. here is the video clip url link...I felt for this man...married with kids and you know he was worrying about their welfare...what a burden sin will hoist on you.... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/ynews_sp1020;_ ylt=AsB4P2LA4mlmEgNTMu3jgTMiANEA;_ ylu=X3oDMTE2ZjdidDg3BHBvcwMyBHNlYwN5bl9m ZWF0dXJlZARzbGsDcGVyc29uYWxmb3Vs

The Saint Must Walk Alone-A.W. Tozer
Mood: Now Playing: I was remided of this tonight, and as I went to visit a friends blog..this was the posting..Thanks once again Aila! Topic: The Word! The Saint Must Walk Alone by A.W. TozerMost of the world's great souls have been lonely. Loneliness seems to be one price the saint must pay for his saintliness. In the morning of the world (or should we say, in that strange darkness that came soon after the dawn of man's creation), that pious soul, Enoch, walked with God and was not, for God took him; and while it is not stated in so many words, a fair inference is that Enoch walked a path quite apart from his contemporaries. Another lonely man was Noah who, of all the antediluvians, found grace in the sight of God; and every shred of evidence points to the aloneness of his life even while surrounded by his people. Again, Abraham had Sarah and Lot, as well as many servants and herdsmen, but who can read his story and the apostolic comment upon it without sensing instantly that he was a man "whose soul was alike a star and dwelt apart"? As far as we know not one word did God ever speak to him in the company of men. Face down he communed with his God, and the innate dignity of the man forbade that he assume this posture in the presence of others. How sweet and solemn was the scene that night of the sacrifice when he saw the lamps of fire moving between the pieces of offering. There, alone with a horror of great darkness upon him, he heard the voice of God and knew that he was a man marked for divine favor. Moses also was a man apart. While yet attached to the court of Pharaoh he took long walks alone, and during one of these walks while far removed from the crowds he saw an Egyptian and a Hebrew fighting and came to the rescue of his countryman. After the resultant break with Egypt he dwelt in almost complete seclusion in the desert. There, while he watched his sheep alone, the wonder of the burning bush appeared to him, and later on the peak of Sinai he crouched alone to gaze in fascinated awe at the Presence, partly hidden, partly disclosed, within the cloud and fire. The prophets of pre-Christian times differed widely from each other, but one mark they bore in common was their enforced loneliness. They loved their people and gloried in the religion of the fathers, but their loyalty to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and their zeal for the welfare of the nation of Israel drove them away from the crowd and into long periods of heaviness. "I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children," cried one and unwittingly spoke for all the rest. Most revealing of all is the sight of that One of whom Moses and all the prophets did write, treading His lonely way to the cross. His deep loneliness was unrelieved by the presence of the multitudes. 'Tis midnight, and on Olive's brow The star is dimmed that lately shone; 'Tis midnight; in the garden now, The suffering Savior prays alone. 'Tis midnight, and from all removed The Savior wrestles lone with fears; E'en the disciple whom He loved Heeds not his Master's grief and tears. - William B. Tappan He died alone in the darkness hidden from the sight of mortal man and no one saw Him when He arose triumphant and walked out of the tomb, though many saw Him afterward and bore witness to what they saw. There are some things too sacred for any eye but God's to look upon. The curiosity, the clamor, the well-meant but blundering effort to help can only hinder the waiting soul and make unlikely if not impossible the communication of the secret message of God to the worshiping heart. Sometimes we react by a kind of religious reflex and repeat dutifully the proper words and phrases even though they fail to express our real feelings and lack the authenticity of personal experience. Right now is such a time. A certain conventional loyalty may lead some who hear this unfamiliar truth expressed for the first time to say brightly, "Oh, I am never lonely. Christ said, `I will never leave you nor forsake you,' and `Lo, I am with you alway.' How can I be lonely when Jesus is with me?" Now I do not want to reflect on the sincerity of any Christian soul, but this stock testimony is too neat to be real. It is obviously what the speaker thinks should be true rather than what he has proved to be true by the test of experience. This cheerful denial of loneliness proves only that the speaker has never walked with God without the support and encouragement afforded him by society. The sense of companionship which he mistakenly attributes to the presence of Christ may and probably does arise from the presence of friendly people. Always remember: you cannot carry a cross in company. Though a man were surrounded by a vast crowd, his cross is his alone and his carrying of it marks him as a man apart. Society has turned against him; otherwise he would have no cross. No one is a friend to the man with a cross. "They all forsook Him, and fled." The pain of loneliness arises from the constitution of our nature. God made us for each other. The desire for human companionship is completely natural and right. The loneliness of the Christian results from his walk with God in an ungodly world, a walk that must often take him away from the fellowship of good Christians as well as from that of the unregenerate world. His God-given instincts cry out for companionship with others of his kind, others who can understand his longings, his aspirations, his absorption in the love of Christ; and because within his circle of friends there are so few who share inner experiences, he is forced to walk alone. The unsatisfied longings of the prophets for human understanding caused them to cry out in their complaint, and even our Lord Himself suffered in the same way. The man who has passed on into the divine Presence in actual inner experience will not find many who understand him. A certain amount of social fellowship will of course be his as he mingles with religious persons in the regular activities of the church, but true spiritual fellowship will be hard to find. But he should not expect things to be otherwise. After all he is a stranger and a pilgrim, and the journey he takes is not on his feet but in his heart. He walks with God in the garden of his own soul - and who but God can walk there with him? He is of another spirit from the multitudes that tread the courts of the Lord's house. He has seen that of which they have only heard, and he walks among them somewhat as Zacharias walked after his return from the altar when the people whispered, "He has seen a vision." The truly spiritual man is indeed something of an oddity. He lives not for himself but to promote the interests of Another. He seeks to persuade people to give all to his Lord and asks no portion or share for himself. He delights not to be honored but to see his Savior glorified in the eyes of men. His joy is to see his Lord promoted and himself neglected. He finds few who care to talk about that which is the supreme object of his interest, so he is often silent and preoccupied in the midst of noisy religious shoptalk. For this he earns the reputation of being dull and overserious, so he is avoided and the gulf between him and society widens. He searches for friends upon whose garments he can detect the smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of the ivory palaces, and finding few or none, he, like Mary of old, keeps these things in his heart. It is this very loneliness that throws him back upon God. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up." His inability to find human companionship drives him to seek in God what he can find nowhere else. He learns in inner solitude what he could not have learned in the crowd - that Christ is All in All, that He is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption, that in Him we have and possess life's summum bonum. Two things remain to be said. One, that the lonely man of whom we speak is not a haughty man, nor is he the holier-than-thou, austere saint so bitterly satirized in popular literature. He is likely to feel that he is the least of all men and is sure to blame himself for his very loneliness. He wants to share his feelings with others and to open his heart to some like-minded soul who will understand him, but the spiritual climate around him does not encourage it, so he remains silent and tells his griefs to God alone. The second thing is that the lonely saint is not the withdrawn man who hardens himself against human suffering and spends his days contemplating the heavens. Just the opposite is true. His loneliness makes him sympathetic to the approach of the brokenhearted and the fallen and the sin-bruised. Because he is detached from the world, he is all the more able to help it. Meister Eckhart taught his followers that if they should find themselves in prayer and happen to remember that a poor widow needed food, they should break off the prayer instantly and go care for the widow. "God will not suffer you to lose anything by it," he told them. "You can take up again in prayer where you left off and the Lord will make it up to you." This is typical of the great mystics and masters of the interior life from Paul to the present day. The weakness of so many modern Christians is that they feel too much at home in the world. In their effort to achieve restful "adjustment" to unregenerate society they have lost their pilgrim character and become an essential part of the very moral order against which they are sent to protest. The world recognizes them and accepts them for what they are. And this is the saddest thing that can be said about them. They are not lonely, but neither are they saints.

IVE ALREADY GIVEN YOU A WORD by David Wilkerson
Mood: Now Playing: Shared to me by Aila! Maraming Salamat Po, Aching Aila! Topic: The Word! by David Wilkerson We are living in a time of the greatest gospel revelation in history. There are more preachers, more books, and more gospel-media saturation than ever. Yet there has never been more distress, affliction and troubled minds among God’s people. Pastors today design their sermons just to pick people up and help them deal with despair. There is nothing wrong with this. I preach these truths myself. Yet I believe there’s still just one reason why we see so little victory and deliverance: The fact is, God has spoken with great clarity in these last days. And this is what he has said: “I’ve already given you a Word. It is finished and complete. Now, stand on it.” Romans 10:17 This is the only way true faith will ever rise up in any believer’s heart. It comes by hearing—that is, believing, trusting and acting on—God’s Word. Psalm 34:15, 17, 19, 22 In just these few passages from Psalms, we are given enough of God’s Word to drive out all unbelief. I urge you now: Hear it, Trust it, Obey it. And finally, rest in it.

Psalm 37
Mood: Now Playing: A Good Word For Today! Topic: The Word! Psalm 37 1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. 13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. 14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. 15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. 16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. 18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. 19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. 21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. 22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. 27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. 28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. 30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. 32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. 33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. 34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. 35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. 36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. 37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. 38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. 39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the LORD shall help them and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

McChristians........
Mood: Now Playing: Shoots you all look the same!..Only God can tell who's who! Topic: The Word! Aloha!, Thanks for visiting...let me say up front, if you are offended by my postings...I make no apology...just calling it as it is.....yet I do seek peace with everyone as much as is possible. A little background on me so it does give some clarity...I grew up in the Nazarene Church...a Holiness Denomination...good people, yet if you know scripture...your own goodness really is worthless. (Isaiah 64:6 & Romans 3:23) There I received good training in all the Bible stories and eventually gave my life to Christ at a Nazarene Youth Camp...yep the old sawdust trail as they say...sounds real spiritual, yet I was serious. I "knew" I was and still am a sinner! yet I am saved by grace, and do my best to apply HIS holiness and seek it out...(1 Corinthians 1:29-30) It was many years after becoming a Christian to get me to understand the love of God Through Christ....and HIS Grace. How my acting or looking Holy did not mean diddley squat, yet because of His "Free" gift of grace, did not and does not permit me to run around acting as I like. I have failed miserably many times in life and been disobedient even when I knew it to be wrong, I just salved it over with my own story of why I was justified in doing so.....just was fooling myself that's all....it also set me up for His corrective hand of which I am now appreciative..(Hebrews 12:6-12)..In His correction you learn to see His Love for you and His Mercy...it is beyond your thinking...utterly mind boggling! Anyway it all comes to the hypocrisy of acting and looking like every other believer....yes denominations and isms in general are the hot beds for the mimics.... The old time holiness ministers all looked alike...hey they did not want to look to flashy right? You know what I mean ...the Buddy Holly Glasses, Black suits, white shirts etc.plain ties....and hey that King James had better be Black Leather, and King James because that's the language Jesus Spoke....yep a lot of ignorance floating in that punch bowl and it still has not thawed....But God does call us to modesty and good taste, not to come rolling into church looking like Whacked Fashion Magazine.... God does call us His Peculiar People (Ex 19:5 to 1 Peter 2:9), it does not mean we are odd ball nut cases...if you are yoked with Jesus ...His inner light within you will shine through, that is what sets you apart. Unsaved UnGodly People know there is something different about you. It is not because if they had a police line up with you and a hundred brethren of the same denomination, that they could not pick you out...LOL! Yet many think that...oooo they sure look Hoy don't they??? Nottttt!!!! Look there is a JW, or a Mormon, or from The Pentecostal Holiness Church.... I remember when I pastored with a Holiness denomination that a Sister who had the dress that covered her arms to her wrist (talking Hawaii now ok!) and it flowed down to her toes, oh yes and the ruffled collar.....now she mentioned a minister kept looking at her toes, as they chatted...oh well....and then another time a missionary was visiting and as she spoke she said "well the new converts sure are on fire, yet though they don't look Holiness, but they sure are!" I asked the person next to me ...errr...and what does Holiness look like?...I got elbowed if I remember that correctly... Now you may feel like I am coming off like a mocker, and I am not..far from it...yet I hear the sacred cows mooing from the pasture. You see some of the most Sweet Christlike individuals I have met have been wrapped up in the "Holiness" clothing dress code, yet some of the most hypocritical also...Jesus embattled that as the Pharisees pulled the same thing except they took it all to new levels with all their rituals....rituals that they did not keep, or rituals that pointed to them and how "Holy" or "Pious" they were". (Matthew 6) Jesus addressed this issue.... It all really boils down to "Who Owns Your Heart"! When I was in High School McDonald's in an advertising campaign through the local radio stations would give a free Big Mac to the first caller who could recite the Big Mac Ingredient Jingle....I still can after thirty years (yes thirty and yes I Know I do look good for a fifty year old....LOL) the ingredients? Two all beef patties, special sauce , lettuce cheese pickle onions on a sesame seed bun....and you had to say it fast....hmmm I don't think I ever won either...could not call fast enough I guess. The point here is you can visit McDonald's from here to the Phillipines, Australia...China?..and that Big Mac will be the same, yet we are not all the same and that is the beauty of God's creativity...He loves us and deals with us individually because we are all just like snowflakes where no two are exactly alike, all like multi-faceted diamonds. (1 Corinthians 12) We believers are all gifted differently and have different callings on our lives yet all belong to Jesus! We are all part of HIS Church of which HE IS THE HEAD and HE Reigns From Heaven not any one city! We are not saved because we are members of any ism, or denomination...there is not one verse in the scriptures that support that view....We are saved because we have accepted Him as "LORD and Savior" into our hearts... I hear it all the time..."What religion are you?" They look puzzled when I say I am not part of a religion! What??? Yes I am in relationship, with Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior...."The Only One who can save me!" Not by my clothing style, not being baptized, not by going to church regularly, not by being baptized and a member of that church, but by growing and knowing HIM! Those other things change when "you let Him Change you through the Holy Spirit.....Guys won't dress like a slick used car salesman or Jim Dandy, or try look like a studly murphed out dude, nor the women coming to church looking like they just came from a bar or walked off a fashion runway for show, but they will have learned to put on "Christ" and be on the modest side..... Well this all is shared out of love for the readers that grace these pages because when we get into formula, instead of relationship it becomes toxic faith and not faith in Him at all...... Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Galatians 3:1- O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. 5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. Be Blessed In Him, Tim

Bible Study!
Mood: Now Playing: Your Bible! Topic: The Word! Aloha, The more I have been getting back into, deeper study of the scriptures, the more I question some of the "Modern Translations" ...easily I do not endorse "the Message" anymore...I think that and when it is used it needs to be checked against the King James or The New King James, or The New American Standard Version with variant notes...(Variant notes list to the side what The scholars say is in another manuscript, but not in the on they used for a main reference.)...There were good translations of the Past like Becks...now God's Word To The Nations" , "CB Williams Translation" which was an excellent paraphrase now out of print and I would love to have a copy again....and Gerut Verkyls "Berkley Bible Translation"....the original and the revised version...which is good but softened by a team of scholars (sic) I love the King James version yet your average person does not understand the archaic (outdated) words used in it, and by the way Jesus did not speak King James English ok? The Modern King James or New King James are excellent alternatives....The Message is a paraphrase, and that is what the translator "thinks" the word is saying...and there are some questionable "thoughts"in some of the scriptures. I am not knocking or questioning the author's faith here just his translation unless it is read side by side and checked with a literal translation....the same as the NIV which is not literal but more of a thought for thought, translation, and the ever popular "Living Translation". I offer this advice as I know that I am accountable for what I share, and I want to share "The Truth"! Blessings, Brother Timothy
The Question!
Mood: Now Playing: How's the Hearing? Topic: The Word! The question is....”When did you lose your hearing?” Most will say “I haven’t, I can hear fine!” God’s answer...”Then you are not listening, because you keep doing what I have asked you to stop!” From my posting of this word a quick perusal of the Berbible finder, I see it is recorded eight times where Jesus said: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. or a variant of that! in Matthew 11:15, 13:9, 13:43, Mark 4:9, 4:23, 7:16, Luke 8:8, and 4:35........read on.. and prayerfully consider. Matthew 11: 15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you,and ye have not lamented. 13:8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Mark 4: 8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 21 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel,or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? 22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 7:14 And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. 16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. Luke 8: 5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. 6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, He cried, he that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 14:34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill but men cast it out.He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. In Closing....obedience brings the blessing, but we can put ourselves in a position of becoming or being unusable if we do not heed His voice! In each of these verses above it all comes back to; Do you or don’t you? Will you, or won’t you? Selah, Brother Tim

The Battlefield!
Mood: Now Playing: A call to be sober, and vigilent in prayer! Topic: The Word! The Headlines read today: Army: 12 dead, 31 hurt in attack at Fort Hood........... I thought within myself …oh Lord not again…as I sent up a sigh …. This year I have lost some Dear, Dear Friends…some to natural cause, some to what I feel were cause brought on by fear, brought on by current affairs. This and I have a some I have seen the mental strain and I have become deeply concerned about, because I am seeing sides to them that as well as I know them, I have not seen before. It has been driving me to prayer as it should be….You see that the devil is truly walking about as a roaring lion…….as Peter states… 1 Peter 5: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. We believers need to be sober, instead of seeking distraction in front of the boob tube, or whatever takes our eyes off of the Lord…… As I read on I am listing a quick synopsis of this article: Army: 12 dead, 31 hurt in attack at Fort Hood........... The attack happened just down the road from one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history. On Oct. 16, 1991, George Hennard smashed his pickup truck through a Luby’s Cafeteria window in Killeen, Texas, and fired on the lunchtime crowd with a high-powered pistol, killing 22 people and wounding at least 20 others.......... Covering 339 square miles, Fort Hood is the largest active duty armored post in the United States. Home to about 52,000 troops as of earlier this year, it is located halfway between Austin and Waco. This whole scenario above dawned on me , as I read it about the territories we battle in spiritually came to mind. As you can see the stats for this one area, from Ft. Hood to Waco……that area is nothing special to demonic domains the evil does have it strategies also. Everywhere a believer steps, is a step into warfare at times: Paul states that clearly: Ephesians 6: 10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Jesus battled with satan in the desert in His time of being tempted: Luke 4: 10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: 11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season. (The NASB says for an opportune time.) Jesus had come to route the devil of his authority…yet upon failing the devil departed and waited again for an opportune time to get at Christ………..Jesus Taught of the demonic forces…those which we battle with today… Matthew 12: 43 “When an evil spirit comes out of a person, it goes through dry places looking for a place to rest. But it doesn’t find any. 44 Then it says, ‘I’ll go back to the home I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean, and in order. 45 Then it goes and brings along seven other spirits more evil than itself. They enter and take up permanent residence there. In the end the condition of that person is worse than it was before. That is what will happen to the evil people of this day.” Also in John, Jesus speaks of His own mission and of the devils strategies and his wreckage.....John 10: 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. The Holy Spirit through Paul states that the non believers are blinded, yet as I see it some believers are also or in denial…many believers are dangerously hooked on horror movies..what are now , are a very far throw from the hokie horror movies of the forties and fifties, so graphic they torment or eventually cauterize the minds of the movie goers.... 2Corinthians 4: 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Still as stated above in Ephesians there are principalities and powers as we see clearly pointed out in Daniel: Daniel 10: 2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. 4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; 5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: 6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. 7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. 8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. 9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. 10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. You see Daniel was in Babylon, and it was soon to be overtaken by Persia, yet there was a force a “Prince” of Persia that this angelic messenger battled and needed the help of the Arch Angel Micheal to get through to Daniel….See Daniel held fast and the word got through……… The fallen angels had strategic assignments….many in the time before Noah left there posts and cohabitated with the women….. Genesis 6: 1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. It is not unlike today with all the world religions….many a rehashing “New Age” repackaging of the religions of Babel…communing with the angelic beings and ascended masters. God dealt with them then as Peter states: 2 Peter 2: 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: 10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. 11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. Jude covered it also in his book: Jude 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. So you see that as the time gets closer to Christ Jesus’ return satan and his troops are out to do as much damage as they can Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. ….We are not wrestling against flesh and blood as The Holy Spirit through Paul states in Ephesians, and we are told to put on The Full Armor of God…to be sober….to stand firm…to resist steadfast in our faith……….these thing do happen around you everyday…not in the Hood magnitude but we are not called to fear…….. I close with a story of someone I personally dealt with many years ago……Someone Dear to me was a nurse…she asked me about the demonic, as where she worked three people had died one after another all in the same hospital bed and the same room, all complained about the exact ailing area of pain. She had said one was an elderly woman who when asked by her daughter and prayed for by a Christian staffer, that her mother turned vehement and cursed at the Minister……She shocked her daughter who said her mother had never acted that way…her mother passed away horribly shortly after that…. This nurse knew there was something resident there in that room. I explained about territorial spirits, and how they wait, and do continual damage…that she and the believing brother go and pray, taking authority over the spirit and binding it, in Jesus Name! They did and the repetitive damage stopped…… If these things seem scary…they should scare the living Hell out of you!!! Not to live in fear but in the comfort and deliverance Jesus gives us! I close with 1 John 4: 1 John 4: 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. A Thought for today from HIS WORD!
Mood: Now Playing: Jabez. .....An Honorable Prayer of Belief in GOD, and Expectation from HIM, and Fulfillment by HIM! Topic: The Word! 1 Chronicles 4: 9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez [Painful], because she said that his birth was painful.
9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. (KJV)

A Good Verse for Today, and everyday for that matter! :)
Mood: Topic: The Word! Romans Chapter 8: 28 And we are conscious that all things are working together for good to those who have love for God, and have been marked out by his purpose. 29 Because those of whom he had knowledge before they came into existence, were marked out by him to be made like his Son, so that he might be the first among a band of brothers: 30 And those who were marked out by him were named; and those who were named were given righteousness; and to those to whom he gave righteousness, in the same way he gave glory. 31 What may we say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not keep back his only Son, but gave him up for us all, will he not with him freely give us all things? (Bible In Basic English Translation)
