Blur still want Coxon

Damon Albarn told Billboard.com he was hoping to make another record as a four-piece, rather than as a trio, like they did with 2003's Think Tank. Arguments between Coxon and the rest of the band caused the guitarist to leave before the album was recorded and Coxon has since been gaining popularity as a solo artist.

Despite Albarn's success in the animated band Gorillaz, he said he's waiting to talk to Coxon to see if the departed guitarist would be interested in making another Blur record. "I miss playing live in something that I grew up in. I do feel it's a shame that we didn't stick to it. Hopefully, we'll play together soon. As musicians, we need to spread peace and love."
