all the way up to The Fragile has there been so much to see or feel from any one musician. The blend of rage, desperation and lust is perfected in the shrieking of Reznor as he calls out to his demons, challenging them, summoning them into himself, on stage, for the world to see.
Hello, I am ‡¤§£ã¥è¤‡ and this is my site, dedicated to NIN, whom I have been following closely ever since their arrival on the scene w/ "HALO 1". ("down in it")
Now, here we are,...many years and a few HALO's later, all the way up the angst ridden ladder, to the much anticipated HALO 15.
Of course, getting there was not easy, especially for us, the ones who kept hearing a "soon to be released" rumour flying about, and in the end we waited close to two full years before we saw THE FRAGILE.
Pure fucking agony it was......the waiting........but then there it was, and HALO 14, "the fragile" was given to us, accompanied of course w/ over 40 US tour dates.
All the shadow chasing, all the deep digging online for anything, a date perhaps, a snippet of a cut, a picture of the cover.....all of it was over as NIN released what is quite possibly it's most perfect work to date.I have to admit, Im such a huge fan of anything he does, it seems as if every time I hear a cut, I have never heard it before, it is always new and complexingly hypnotic, and up until "the fragile" there was nothing that could wrench me away from "broken".Now of course, the tides have shifted...the winds whisper hints of change, and the leaves rustle w/ impending doom as "the fragile" slowly but surely marches in.
On the horizon though, looms yet another cloud of Reznors despair, known only as "things falling apart".
Set for an 10.24.00 release we can only hope....of course those of us who have heard various pieces of certain cuts alleged to be actually from the album do know better....but...what the hell?..its new.
