Oh for the love of God, it will never end! I am still sick goddammitt!!!! Argh! i tried to go to work for a few hours, but that failed miserably.. I'm sure the only thing I accoplished was making everyone else sick. Well, good, I hope they suffer! Bwa ha ha!! I have five more days of owkr left, so I have nothing to lose if I miss a few days. So I went home and passed out on the couch with the dog licking my toe and the TV blaring. Mmmmm..coma..

I'm still on a roll and I'm not even going to attempt going to work. Yippee, more vegging out and being a slob! I decided to go see the doctor however, since I wasn't getting much better, and he told me it was developing into pneumonia! What?! I had been taking care of myself, by, well, not doing anything! Stinkin bacteria.. But I have caught up on the news and cooking shows, so something has come out of it. I bought Elvis Costello's greatest hits, and have been listening to it non-stop. He's such a quirky, but really talented musician. I'm also dying to see Goldmember-that looks hilarious. I had a friend who's father hung out with the Mini-me. I love the part where Austin is attacked by Mini-me with a broken bottle, and the little fellow is running around with a bag over him and runs into a door. Hahaha hohoho.. Slap stick makes me laugh.

The fun never ends! I'm still, and probably always will be, sick. I have two more days of work, and then see ya later. It will be a bit sad though, leaving some of my friends. I really met some cool people up here. I'm really getting cabin fever however from being holed up in the basement. I feel like the creepy child that lives in here parents basement. Not good.

I attempted to go to work today, out of some delusional fantasy, and ended up just spreading my illness to the rest of the population. This thing is really taking a toll on me, and I'm really worried since there is only slight improvement. So anyway, I showed up, and my boss jokingly (I think) said if I didn't leave, she would get security to remove me. I'm not one to resist authority, so I complied, and went on my merry way back to my dorm. I had a lot of packing to do anyway.

Oh happy day, this is my last day of work ever. Yessssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So to celebrate, I did some work, a rare thing indeed. My boss took me to a great Mexican food restaurant outside of DC, which was famous because Pres. Bush frequents it. They have a special chair for him, which is painted red, white, and blue, has his name on it, and is bolted to the floor for those who desire a souvenir I suppose. Unfortunately, he wasn't there while we ate. :) I gobbled up queso, and vacuumed up delicious fajitas. My favorite! So as I returned to work, an intern came up to me, (she's a bit of a space cadet anyway) and said "are you going to the surprise party for you?" Gee, I guess so, but it was supposed to be a surprise. Ok then, whatever... As long as I get free cake, I really don't care. So we had cake and Vanilla Coke, which tastes no differnet to me, it's just a little sweeter. But I don't drink soft drinks otherwise, so maybe I don't have the experience to tell. I took pictures, said my good-bye's, and then left to tend to my packing. I was overwhelmed by all the work I had to do. It seems as though I aquired quite a bit of material things while I was here. Great..

Still more packing, and then I have to pick up my mom from the airport. So I worked up a sweat all morning, and finally cleaned out my room. My car looked like a landfill with all the goodies in the trunk, and I knew my mom would not be pleased with this. So I drove to the airport, and fearing I might be late, sped a wee bit. Of course I got pulled over at the airport, and the office asked me the usual questions, "What's the speed limit", and the always clever " how fast do you think you were going?" and I really failed this test because I said "55 mph" for the first question, and "60 mph" for the second. Well, it turns out it was 25 mph, and I was doing about 55. Not good, but I guess the batting of my eyes seduced him, and he let me off. Phew, that would not have been a good thing.

Too much going on, day off..
