The Massachusetts Based Trio, EXIT 3 has recently relocated
to Tempe, Arizona
One could say the formation of Exit 3 was something born out of luck. In early 1999, percussionist Chris Streeter was scheduled to perform with his group at a local Battle of the Bands. By virtue of a last minute cancellation, his band was unable to perform, thereby setting off a chain of events from which the world has yet to recover. |
|
Seth "Golden
Pipes" Gooby, was called at approximately 3:35pm by Streeter that day.
Steeter, aware of his band's sudden cancellation, suggested that he and Gooby
fill in the open slot. Gooby agreed and then placed a call to good friend and
bass player virtuoso Stu Martin. The band, meeting together for the very first
time quickly rehursed a number of original tunes. With five minutes to spare,
Exit 3 arrived and performed their set and was awarded Second Place.
