The Surf God

I actually have no idea what this statue is supposed to represent as when I took the picture, I was too lazy to go up and read the sign in front of it. The beach in the background is the famous Waikiki beach - one of the most tourist-laden on the island. Goodness, the people are almost stacked on top of each other. Kalakaua Avenue, which runs parallel to Waikiki, is checkered with expensive hotels, restaurants and shops. Maybe I'll spend more time there someday when I'm rich.
