Blow
Hole
The Blow Hole is a natural
geyser-type formation on the east end of Oahu. I'm not sure what
the exact geological terms are to describe it, but geyser seems
to work. Basically, as the ocean waves crash into the rocks, the
water is blown up into the air from a hole in the rock, much like
a whale's blow hole, I guess. The images above show it pretty well,
but I've seen bigger "squirts" before. Some crazy people try to
climb over the retaining walls and kill themselves here. Not good.

Here is the view from Blow
Hole. I think the area is called Sandy Beach which is popular for
its surfing. In any case, it was pretty to look at.
