March 16, 2003 Well, the new album is done! All of the recording and artwork are completed; I just have a little mastering to do on a couple songs before it's all ready. I will be releasing another full-length project later this year as well. After that, I have plans to fire up the amps and perhaps start another band. If you are, or know of a good drummer or bassist in the Western Kentucky area who might be interested in a prog/art rock band thing, then email me.I can send sone samples of what I have in mind.
FEBRUARY 22, 2003 The below links may or may not work depending upon whether or not I've gotten around to fixing them. There is, however, a new complete song posted in the aural section under "Tear Open the Massive Dark" that my friend James Colby Townsend and I had written several years ago that I've just gotten around to recording called "To Become As Children". Check it out if you've got time for the 5.35mb download. Smellsyne!
FEBRUARY 21, 2003 The NEW ALBUM is almost completed! I am currently finishing recording the LAST SONG! Anyone who knows me realizes how important this is for me - to get my material onto a media other than the death-prone cells of my brain. I already have several other songs recorded for another forthcoming project, which will, hopefully, not be so long in the making. I currently have compiled a database of all of my written material, and as near as I can figure, I have about 40 or so unrecorded songs that are complete, that is not counting the plethora of sketches I keep tapes of, so there should be many more recordings (hopefully good) to come. Below is a sompling of some of the newer stuff I've been working on. "My Bloody Valentine" is a writing/recording collaboration with the one and only John "Cornelius" Wheatley. It was co-produced/engineered by Kevin "Won't talk Phil into giving me his Marshall half stack" Willett, who also co-produced, along with yours truly, "Ghost", a link to which can be found in the 'Aural' section of this site. Thanks for visiting! Now I'm going to blow my tax return. By the way, if anyone has been visiting this site whom I do not know personally, and is wondering where my albums can be purchased, the answer is NOWHERE! So HAH!!! Or, I might make an exception if you want to contact me...Be sure to make reference to the fact that you want to BUY my album, and not simply that you want to send me $, cause I might mistake you for SPAM. (Why is it called "Spam" mail anyway? Is it really made of a hog's ass or something?) I'll send you a FREE album if you can tell me the answer to that.
