INFLUENCES: Pearl Jam, Pixies, Old School Metallica, Replacements, Urge Overkill, Old School Radiohead, and obviously Biz Markee.
CD's I'M LISTENING TO NOW: It's mostly self-help stuff these days, like, "How to Make People Like You", "Playing In Tune--Coping With Abusive Band Mates", "Readers Digest-Increase Your Word Power" (p.s., this one is really, really...uhm...good). However, when I decide to listen to music, lately it's been Phantom Planet, Audioslave, Pete Yorn, and Rancid.

PERFECT DATE: Arriving in the very best car I can borrow, I will present the lady with a beautiful bouquet of roses or possibly carnations depending on the price point. Then, I will take her to a lovely family-owned, Italian restaurant. The kind you go to because it isn’t too expensive but you can pretend you’re there because of the quaint charm of the place. There, the lady and I will dine on the fine bread the establishment provides at no charge and I will encourage her to have seconds and thirds of the bread and will then proclaim myself to be so stuffed that maybe we should just split one of the delicious entrees featuring meats lower in fat such as pork, or salmon. We will feed one another using only the most beautiful and shiny silverware.  The waitress will describe a delicious sounding desert of caramel covered strawberries but I will encourage my lady to just drink more wine. Afterwards, I will take her for a stroll in the park.  If there's a bit of a chill in the air, I will place my coat around her shoulders and possibly, accidentally, caress her bosom in the
process.  I will recite poems of love to her.  Next, I will take her for a horse and carriage ride.  We will hold hands and look tenderly into one another’s eyes.  Finally, I will take her back to her place and she will invite me up.  Then, we’ll do it
FIRST KISS: When I was 5, I had a girlfriend. She was the Pastor's daughter and her name was Barbie. Yeah, that's right. Well, we kissed a couple of times. I was pretty cool back then.
BEST LITTLE LEAGUE ACCOMPLISHMENT: In my last year of the 10 to 12 year old league, I had a batting average of .875. I'm not lying, ask my Dad.
RANDOM CHILDHOOD STREET HOCKEY MEMORY: The older, bigger kid on the block used to get so frustrated trying to defend me that he said my name shouldn't be Joey Mroz, it should be Floaty Mirage because trying to catch me was like trying to catch a floatin' mirage. I was like, "yeah, that's right, you can't touch this." Then, one day he did catch me, and it hurt.
WHEN IT COMES TO FIGHTING...: There's a definite school of thought that it's really all about grappling and nothing else these days. But, for me, my money's on acting insane. If you act crazy enough, you just might scare your opponent. If that doesn't work, I would run.
WHEN DID YOU START PLAYING: Some would say I haven't started yet, but for the record, I started when I was 17.
WHY DID YOU START PLAYING: Music was always a big part of my family's life, and my dad played in a band, so it felt natural. Like two women hugging and kissing...natural.
HOW HAVE PEOPLE DESCRIBED YOU?: People have described me as cool, awesome, hot, video games, the hottest and real, real hot.
BEST ADVICE ANYONE EVER GAVE ME: "Never volunteer for anything." -- Tim Hough
