A young man’s first feather is something to be very proud of.
It is a symbol of the passage from a boy to a man.
Now there is the responsibility of the feather to the wearer and the responsibility of the wearer to the feather.
They are bound together for life.
The feather should be worn and displayed with all honour and respect.
The wearer will be looked upon with the same honour and respect.
He has just become a man.
Into the future, when good deeds are done, more and more feathers will be earned.
Each feather will have it’s own life.
Each with it’s own special meaning.
