Adam is definately the front man of the band, which may seem odd as he sits at the back when they play on stage. So much can be said about him, but knowing him he would rather it wasn't said so we will stick with the facts.
The majority of the writing is done by Adam and Robert, and Adam is the lyrics man, stating that "I found poetry writing when I was at school and it's become part of my daily ritual to write what I am feeling down as apposed to dealing with it like a normal person, it's part artistic expression, part anger management"
As a founding member of Delinquent, Adam does hold the band very close to himself, and relates a lot of the troubles he has had as "song improving" excercises.
When the band play shows, usually there will be a wave of hair behind the drums screaming rants and raves, which is strange when you consider that Adam is also a pretty shy and introverted person.
It can be best summed up by the man himself "When you're on stage you have a responsibility to entertain people, so the person I become when I pick up the drum sticks is not exactly the same as the guy I am 10 minutes before that. It's not that I am fake about it, just an over the top version of myself, otherwise we'd be a very boring band"
Outside of playing in Delinquent and also Soul Trickery, Adam is also one of the key people in the push to develope a music scene in the Shoalhaven, putting on many of the bigger rock events that we've seen here over the last year.
So when you're at a Delinquent show, look for the one at the back sitting behind a drum kit and letting you know just how much punishment drums and a throat are able to take!!
