home "The Words" is about drifting in life, losing direction, reflecting, and looking for any reason to make drastic changes. I used my toy drum set on this. This recording was done on a four track (zoom mrs4) in 2003. I remember not having an amp, so i put a mic in front of my jambox, and used some pedal for guitar. I was setting out to be really lo fi on this one (mostly because it was winter and i had no equipment:). On the first run, I left out the bridge, but decided that i didn't really need anything else. I wasn't in the mood to spend anymore time on it, so i left it alone.  |
i've been drifting, reflecting lately, way before my time to see where i want to be in my life, well it means so much many feelings changing, many things i see so clear, i wanna go and find where they lead, just say the words it feels like, i started moving to the way i'm gonna spend my days like a fog that's been lifted, i can see so far still gonna see those stone walls, i'll just change the way i choose to get around there's no stopping, don't say the words
