I think i may have finally evicted the raccoons from my attic. Tip: don't leave cat food outside, you will create a huge problem. I have one stubborn one, an adolescent i think, who still tries to come in around 4 a.m. My strategy is ammonia, red pepper, and lights in the attic. I put a radio in the attic sometimes. They were very stubborn and agressive the first few nights. I had a huge stick in my hand, and got within inches of one. He didn't get it, and was probably asking "where's the food". They were on my fiberglass covering on the back patio. I was banging at their feet, and they totally ignored me, which was very scary. Also, on their way out of the vent holes, they'd crash into my window, and i thought the suckers would get in here. I had my pitchfork ready, and still carry it around at night while in the backyard. I'm trying to get them down the street by throwing food out. I try to move the food one house farther away every week or so.
Lately i haven't been a football fan, but how could i ignore lsu vs. florida. Yeah, i'll watch it.
Wrapping up a new tune. It's sort of a ballad titles "Barefoot Spree", maybe. The last 1/3 of the song will probably be instrumental only.
I'm in the middle of this great movie called "Australia" with Nicole Kidman. This is the kind of movie i like: great scenery, a group of misfits, and a good story about australia's past.
I think i'm done with ebay. It seems there are big changes that i was unaware of. I'm in the middle of a dispute with a buyer and paypal. Sellers can no longer leave negative feedback for a bad buyer. This chick gave me a bad address, and wanted me to pay for shipping twice. Ebay is a contract. hello. She just said "oh, sorry, just reship, thank you" No. No. Then, she wanted a refund. I'm fighting this all the way. To top it off, paypal can go into my checking and take my money, and refund it to the buyer. Ebay isn't a contract anymore, it's a free for all. There's no protection against bad buyers, and it it looks like paypal will take their side no matter what. It's enough to say "Goodbye Ebay"
I found "Bonanzle". It has a garage sale/flea market feel to it, and it looks friendlier than feebay. From what i see, you can set a price, or open it up to best offer also. If you have time to kill go to youtube and you'll find plenty of controversy about ebay and paypal.
Well, that's all for now, back to "Australia" and chicken wings.
