"Bigfoot" is an oldie. We used a tascom porta 01 4 track recorder at "the turkish bath house" (rehearsal space) on oklahoma street. I'm guessing this was around 91'. Scott Crane played the drums. John Hall's bass line can be heard bleeding thru on the guitar and drum tracks. Two tracks at a time is all you get. I don't know if that place is still being rented out to musicians. I wrote this after getting lost in the woods, and not getting out until after dark. I started to get a little paranoid, even though i didn't believe in bigfoot. I thought it would make a nice tune, plus i had a piece of music that worked well with it. | i can feel the cold wind, i know it's getting late i'm far from home, it's hard to see this time of day i think i'm being followed, i can hear the leaves behind me just get me back home where i'm safe i can't see a thing now, start to feel that i am lost i'm way off track, my legs are tired, it's getting colder too scared to stop now, but i can't go on much longer somebody please come back for me hold back the fear, hold back the pain and bring me back to my sweet home, i'll never be the same i walked for miles, i lost the way just get me back where i can see this life that waits for me waiting for someone to call for me i can only hear this thing behind me try to stay awake, don't know if something's out there watching every move i make, hoping in time that i'll be saved i've never been so worried, or felt so alone well i start to hear this thing behind me chorus |
