The characters originated from a Saturday morning cartoon show, back in the day most cereals had these to accompany their milk laden product.  So it is no surprise that Crispy Critters had a variety of animal pals.  The main character and show piece was Linus the Lionhearted, followed by a herd of others including Blue Bear, Orange Moose, Pink Elephant, Grape Ape and White Pushme-pullyous.  Flash forward 25 years to the re-lunch of Crispy Critters.  Linus and the gang have retired and "Crispy" a popple like thing takes their place.
