Crowning the Donatello building in the heart of San
Francisco is an exclusive private club, an urban oasis, an elegant
masterpiece in the style and tradition of Italy. The Club Donatello rooms
occupy the top three floors with luxuriously appointed club rooms, where
you can enjoy your private retreat with original art, classic furnishings,
custom terry-cloth robes, entertainment center, and mini-bar.
Club
Donatello is located just one block from Union Square and the fashionable
boutiques and shops that fill the surrounding streets. The Club Donatello
is also neighbor to some of the City's finest dining establishments,
including Farallones, Postrio, Mina's, Grand Cafe, Cortez, La Scene. Other
fine restaurants are within short walking distance. The Club is only one
block from two of San Francisco's principal theaters and about seven
blocks from Moscone Center, the city's principal convention venue. The San
Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Yerba Buena Center for the Performing
Arts and the Sony Metreon entertainment and movie complex are also
in the Moscone vicinity.
The
top floor of the building is our Club 1500, a lounge with 270-degree
views. It's a quiet, comfortable spot to read, meet friends, enjoy a cup
of coffee or tea (always available) or sip a fine wine or cocktail.
On
the same floor is our Club health facility, complete with exercise
equipment, spa pool, men's and women's sauna, and showers with all
the amenities. Massages can be arranged by our Concierge staff in the
Club. Although the health facility shares a floor with our Club Lounge,
exercise attire and Club robes are NOT appropriate for entering the Club
Lounge.
The
15th floor is also where you'll find our highly qualified Club Donatello
Concierge team, ready to help you with information and arrangements in the
Club or outside, 7 AM-10:30 PM (For further information, click on

The
Donatello is also home to Zingari Ristorante, serving dinners inspired by
northern Italy. The restaurant has its own lounge/bar; live jazz can be
heard on weekend evenings.
