We are all very excited
about this show. This will be our first full band show. These are some
of the Areas best bands. We're a charging a $3 cover for this show
because there are four bands and we'd like to give them the proper
support they deserve. If you don't come to this, you'll probably end up
hating yourself.

Saturday November 1st - Xela/Miranda Sound
Xela's
back again and we're very happy about that. Opening the evening off will
be Miranda Sound from Columbus. The band's record Engaged in Labor is on
the Standard Recording label, and
they've received much-deserved spectacular reviews for the album.
Recent high-profile gigs included a performance at Lollapalooza on the
second stage, a showcase at NEMO in Boston, and a shared bill with Jets
to Brazil. So come show your support for these out-of-towners. Don't
forget, we have all of Xela's releases for sale at the shop for $5.

Saturday, November 22nd - The
Heavenly States $2
2003
has already proved to be quite a year for Ted Nesseth and his
band, The Heavenly States. After changing the
band's name late last year they put out a split single with
Coldplay and The Postal Service
titled "Vacant." The band has received nothing but praise in
previews for its strong songwriting, rough and twisted pop
adventuring and lush sound.

"The songwriting
comes close to perfection. It's certainly one of the best albums
of 2003 so far, and essential."

Shaken Stir
“The melodies are
so strong and the performances so tight, not a single moment on
The Heavenly States sounds out of place.”
