Welcome to the Web home of Cashbox Music and Design, based in Minneapolis, MN. Here you'll find a full listing of all my mix CDs, available for sale and trade. I also do graphic design, specializing in CD covers, book covers, t-shirts, and whatever you can dream up.
Also available on the site are the rantings in my LiveJournal, a brief bio, and links to the other work I do, including a bunch of articles and reviews I've written for local and national publications under my
E-mail-loving alter ego of Matt Konrad.

Words

"Dude. Shut up and let me check out your new mixes."
Fine. But first a disclaimer.
"Whatever, dude. But get it over quick."
Here goes: All Cashbox mixes (and single-artist CDs) are available to anyone who wants one. The things I will accept in trade include pretty much anything: mix CDs or tapes, single-artist CDs, t-shirts, patches, toys, comics, zines, books, your aunt's famous baked ziti, or anything else you think is worth it. I will not take money, so don't ask. If you must give me something redeemable for goods, go to Booksense.com and buy a gift certificate.

I am not out to capitalize on these artists, just to expose my own work, and some great musicians, to interested fans. If you like a band on one of my CDs, I'm happy. If you go out and buy their album as a result, I'm even happier, particularly if, like many of these bands, they're on a small label.

I do this 'cause I love it, and so do these musicians, so please support them, and your local scene!

If you're in Minneapolis, you should treat yourself to the ultimate in local punk rock:No Hold Back ... All Attack!!, 54 tracks on 3 LPs representing the best of the TC punk and hardcore scene.

Now here you go.
A note: My graphics freeware expired on me and I'm too poor to buy replacement stuff, but here's a listing of all the existing Cashbox mixes ... click on the title for a full track listing and other information.

Enjoy, and I welcome your feedback.
