It was still daylight at the Kawasaki Stadium Parking Lot as the
show began, BSPW CEO/President Koji Tanaka stepping into the ring
to address the near 10,000 fans. He thanked them all for
attending, and promised a night of variety, as well as the
"revival" of Burning Spirit Pro Wrestling after some
recent hard times. He then thanked Pro-Wrestling FURY and Project
BATTLE*DREAM, who both sent offer matches to the event. After
another thank you to the fans Tanaka-san left, and BSPW ring crew
entered the ringside area, setting up the props for the first
match...
Match 1
ELECTRIFIED BARBED WIRE DEATH MATCH
Atsushi Ono vs. Kinniku-Kamen
1 Fall, 20 Minute Time Limit
Referee: Yoshiyuki Okano
The show opened with a very unique look to the ring; a first of
it's kind for BSPW with the ring ropes were replaced by strands
of skin piercing barbed wire. Atsushi Ono made his entrance,
looking as intense and focused as ever. Ono carefully slides
under the barbed wire and immediately plays to the crowd, getting
a small reaction. "HUSTLE MUSCLE" played next,
introducing Kinniku-Kamen... WHO WAS ON A THRONE BEING CARRIED BY
FOUR MUSCLE BOUND MEN IN LOIN CLOTHES!! The crowd roars in
laughter and cheers as Kinniku stands up and elegantly waves to
the Kawasaki crowd. However, once he jumped into the ring, the
games were over. Both wrestlers stared down one another from
across the ring. Okano gave the go ahead to the outside, and with
one flick of the switch, 15,000 volts were now surging through
the barbed wire. The gong sounded and the match was under way.
Both wrestlers approached and started to pace around each
other... Kinniku tried to a takedown, but Ono as always goes
straight to his no-nonsense brawling, and slams a Double Axe
Handle into Kinniku's back. Ono immediately tries to throw
Kinniku into the barbed wire, but Kinniku slides out of the ring
as the crowd "OOOHHH"'s... Ono goes back to the attack,
hitting Kinniku with forearms to the back, but Kinniku fights
back and throws several punches to Ono's face before slamming him
with a Bodyslam. Kinniku pulls him up before hitting a quick Snap
Suplex; he pulls him up and hits a second, then a third to make
it a trifecta. He goes for the pin, but Ono easily kicks out.
With Ono on the ground, Kinniku clamps on a headlock. Ono brings
him and Kinniku up, and tries to shove Kinniku off into the
barbed wire, as the crowd cries out in suspense. However, Kinniku
stops just before the barbed wire, and brings him and Ono back to
the middle of the ring. Ono slugs Kinniku with multiple punches
to the stomach, and once again tries to throw Ono off, and gets a
good running start and shoves Kinniku off, but Kinniku slides to
avoid impact, and comes charging at Ono, catching him with a
Diving Lariat! Kinniku controlled much of the match, hitting Ono
with a Backdrop suplex, and tried to wear Ono down with his own
finisher, the STF. The first bump into the barbed wire came as
Kinniku attempted to whip Ono into the barbed wire, but Ono
reversed it, sending Kinniku dashing towards the electrified
razor wire, but he slide to avoid contact again, only as he got
up, Ono caught him with a Dropkick, SENDING KINNIKU BACK FIRST
INTO THE BARBED WIRE! Sparks fly as Kinniku trembled in pain
before collapsing. The crowd cries out for their favorite,
Kinniku-Kamen as Ono quickly pulls Kinniku away from the barbed
wire and pins him, but Kinniku manages to kickout at two! Ono
took over, showing much aggression in his attacks against
Kinniku. Ono even pulled out a fork hidden in his kneepads and
began STABBING Kinniku in the forehead, causing the masked
fighter to bleed! Ono then tried to rip at Kinniku's mask even
more. Ono tried to throw Kinniku into the barbed wire a second
time as he scooped him over his shoulder, trying to launch him
face first into the wire. However, Kinniku slides down Ono's back
and SHOVES ONO INTO THE BARBED WIRE! Kinniku suddenly charges AND
SPEARS ONO AS HE'S IN THE BARBED WIRE! The entire side of the
ring literally EXPLODES in sparks and smoke. Both men appear to
have passed out, as they are still trapped in the barbed wire.
Okano jumps up and calls for the gong, ordering a DOUBLE KO!
Winner: N/A (Double KO)
Finishing Move: N/A
Time Of Match: 11:21
Rating: *1/4
After the match the crowd gave a mixed reaction, some applauding
the efforts of the two while others booing the end of the match.
The former won out as ring staff attempted to revive the two,
Kinniku-Kamen getting to his feet first. He looked quite out of
it, and stumbled to the back shortly after, the crowd still
screaming for him. Monster Shinigami and Hironobu Inoue of
Tatakau Ishingun helped their friend to his feet, Ono leaning on
the two as they lead him to the back (with the fans even giving
him a few "ONO!" calls).
Match 2
BURNING SPIRIT DOJO DEBUT
Yoshihiro Yujiro vs. Naoyuki Watanabe [Debut]
1 Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Referee: Hiroyoshi Tangara
Finally after just over 5 months of training, young hopeful
Naoyuki Watanabe made his debut. Watanabe, who thanks to his
backgrounds alone is considered to be BSPW's biggest prospect to
date, was given a supportive reaction from the Kawasaki fans. His
opponent, head trainer of the Burning Spirit Dojo Yoshihiro
Yujiro, was given a nostalgia pop but little more. He was
seconded by his son Kenji, who will also be making his Burning
Spirit debut tonight. Watanabe was seconded by "The
Superstar" Jason Ramsey, who took him on as his own personal
trainee shortly after Watanabe entered the dojo. The bell rang,
the two meeting center ring. Watanabe offered a handshake, Yujiro
accepting before the two locked up. Yujiro easily overpowered
Naoyuki, shoving him into the buckle and unloading with some
stomps to the stomach. Yujiro dragged him out of the corner,
before hitting a DDT for an early two count. The next few minutes
were torture for Naoyuki, Yujiro stretching him out and nearly
forcing him to submit several times. Watanabe got the first bit
of offense of his career at the 6 minute mark, ducking a lariat
from Yujiro before hitting his former master with a dropkick!
Yujiro staggered, Watanabe charging off the ropes and clocking
him with a leaping forearm smash! The crowd gasped as Yujiro
fell, Watanabe covering for one! At ringside Jason Ramsey
grinned, obviously surprised by his student's burst. Watanabe
played to the crowd, before climbing up top. Yujiro got to his
feet, Watanabe leaping off with a missile dropkick, but Yujiro
dodged! Naoyuki hit the mat, rolling onto his stomach. Yujiro
quickly took advantage, locking on a crab hold. Watanabe
struggled for the ropes, the crowd in firm support of the
youngster. Locked in the hold for quite some time, Watanabe
refused to submit, and eventually made the ropes. Yujiro was
quick to break, and waited as Naoyuki pulled himself up. Watanabe
attempted to rush him, but ran right into Yujiro's trademark
Yujiro (Axe) Bomber! Yujiro hooked a leg, picking up the win.
Winner: Yoshihiro Yujiro
Finishing Move: Yujiro Bomber
Time Of Match: 7:29
Rating: *
After the match Ramsey climbed into the ring, helping his student
to his feet. Watanabe bowed deeply to Yujiro, who got on the
microphone and told Naoyuki to "fight [his] hardest",
and not to let him down. Watanabe nodded, shaking hands and
bowing to his former sensei, before doing the same for Ramsey.
Naoyuki took the microphone from Yujiro, and asked the fans to
support him as he attempts to make a career for himself in
professional wrestling.
Match 3
PRO-WRESTLING FURY
OFFER MATCH
Hiroaki Nakata, Akira Takayoshi & Kyoto Okazaki vs. ZERO
Kubota, TSUKYO & Nobusan
1 Fall, 30 Minute Time Limit
Referee: Minoru Miyazaki [FURY]
"KARENAIHANA" by The Local Art played over the Kawasaki
Parking lot sound system as former BSPW roster member Akira
Takayoshi led the FURY sekigun team to the ring. The fans were
very receptive to Akira as he received many calls. Hiroaki Nakata
and Kyoto also received generous reactions. "OVER
DRIVE" (NuWAVE arrange mix) played next as FURY's top rudo
unit and a break-off faction of VioMAX, NuWAVE made their way to
the ring. ZERO Kubota appealed to the crowd before the match, and
reintroduced himself. Kubota had been a freelance worker in BSPW
a while back. Kubota said that tonight would be a VioMAX/NuWAVE
night, and predicted that they would smash Nakata, Takayoshi and
Kyoto, and that KANJI would defeat ATSUKA later tonight. Akira
uncharacteristically attacked Kubota from behind to sound the
gong. Akira pounds away on ZERO's back with forearms and whips
him off into the ropes. ZERO comes back and gets taken over with
a quick armdrag, but gets back to his feet and rushes Akira into
the ropes, and hits him with a chop and a quick elbow shot. ZERO
drives his knee into Akira's stomach and quickly tags out to
TSUKYO who plays to the crowd before whipping Akira into the
ropes. Akira makes the blind tag to Kyoto as Akira ducks under
TSUKYO's arm and distracts him for an instant, allowing Kyoto to
blast TSUKYO in the side of the face with a Yakuza Kick! TSUKYO
falls to one knee, but shows his amazing durability by shaking it
off. Nobusan calls for the tag, and TSUKYO obliges. Nobusan jumps
over the ropes and comes face to face with his rival, Kyoto
Okazaki. After exchanging words, Kyoto comes off the ropes with a
shoulder block, knocking Nobusan down with authority. Nobu rolls
towards Kyoto and brings him down with an ankle pick, and starts
rabidly kicking at Kyoto's inner thigh. He pulls him over to his
corner and plants him with a Bodyslam, before tagging out to
ZERO. ZERO pulls Kyoto up and also Bodyslam's him... ZERO tags
out to TSUKYO who... you guessed it, Bodyslam's Kyoto. The rudo's
continue this for a couple of minutes, gaining a decent reaction
from the crowd. After one final Bodyslam from ZERO, Nobusan is
tagged back in. Nobu pulls Kyoto up, but the stern Jr. fights
Nobusan and shots to the stomach, and quickly comes off the
ropes, hitting Nobusan with desperation YAKUZA KICK! Kyoto rolls
to his corner and makes the hot tag to Hiroaki Nakata, who comes
in and immediately attacks Nobusan with a rush of middle kicks,
sending Nobusan falling through the ropes. TSUKYO comes in and
blindsides Nakata with a Enzuilariat, followed by a Backdrop
suplex for a two count fall. TSUKYO tried to finish the match
early on with the Cruel Angel Driver, but Akira quickly jumped in
and made the save. Akira and TSUKYO had a slugfest between each
other. Akira finally weakened TSUKYO and hit him with one of his
patented Enzuigiri's for a near fall, with ZERO making the save.
ZERO attacked Akira vigorously, but it was only briefly as with
the chants from the crowd, Akira fought back, starting with
hitting ZERO with two straight Backdrop suplexes. Akira tried to
secure the match with a Lariat, but ZERO ducks, causing Akira to
accidentally lariat Nakata! With this brief distraction, ZERO
planted a soccer kick dead in Akira's groin, setting up ZERO's
Brainbuster! ZERO made the cover on the former BSPW wrestler and
got the three!
Winners: ZERO Kubota, TSUKYO & Nobusan
Time Of Match: 9:59
Finishing Move: Brainbuster
Rating: **1/4

PROJECT BATTLE*DREAM
OFFER MATCH
WORLD WIDE WOMEN'S WRESTLING COUNCIL SINGLES
TITLE
"Battle Princess" Misaki Ishikawa [C] vs.
Junko Maeshima
1 Fall, 30 Minute Time Limit
Referee: Tommy Kitazawa [Project
BATTLE*DREAM]
"Ask the Lonely" by Journey kicked up, as Junko
Maeshima walked stoically to the ring, seconded by Sakura Asahara
and Kayoko Yamasaki. Maeshima didn't seem nervous in the least,
as she stretched in the corner as female referee Tommy (Tomoko)
Kitazawa checked Maeshima for foreign objects. Then, "Byo []
Shin (Six Ugly Version)" by Dir en Grey started playing, as
Misaki Ishikawa walked down to the ring, sporting a new black
leather trenchcoat to match her black PVC ring gear. She was
seconded by her boyfriend, Usagi Yoshida, and her older sister,
Naomi Ishikawa (who was carrying the title for Misaki). Kitazawa
checked Ishikawa, then the ring announcements were made. Ishikawa
was blitzed from the start, as Maeshima charged in with punches
and kicks. She then connected with a backdrop suplex, covering
for two. Ishikawa started to fight back after ducking an
elbowsmash, though, connecting with an absolutely brutal lariat.
She followed up with an Aztecan suplex, but Maeshima wasn't worn
down enough, and she was able to kick out at two. Ishikawa then
suckered Maeshima into her game, as they began to brawl on the
outside of the ring. Maeshima suddenly was hit with a DDT on the
outside, and Ishikawa rolled her into the ring for another
two-count. Ishikawa signalled for a bulldog, but just as they
reached center ring, Maeshima lifted Ishikawa up and massacred
her with a sick backdrop driver, with Ishikawa landing on the
back of her skull! Ishikawa was then dragged to her feet, as
Maeshima called for the Death Valley Bomb, but Ishikawa suddenly
got a second wind and locked Maeshima into a wakigatame, but
Maeshima made it to the ropes just barely! Maeshima went for an
axe kick on a rising Ishikawa, but Ishikawa picked Maeshima's leg
from underneath her and applied a heel hook, but the bell
sounded, signalling that the time limit had expired!
Winner: N/A
Finishing Move: N/A (Time Limit Draw) (Ishikawa retains 4WC
Singles title)
Time Of Match: 30:00
Rating: ****1/4
Ishikawa seemed exhausted after the match, as did Maeshima, but
the two shook hands and declared that there would be a rematch.
The BSPW fans gave the women a standing ovation as they exited
the ring, appreciating their efforts.
Before the next match, the sky now darkened, floodlights were
shut on around the parking lot, and spotlights were shot into the
sky from around the area. A firework display went off, the crowd
cheering loudly, before the next match started...
Match 5
"Bad Genome" Kyohei Yamada, Akihiro Suzuki, Yoshi
Yujita, Akitoshi Mikami vs. GALLEON, KENJI, Rikiya Yunome, Usagi
Yoshida [FREE]
1 Fall, 30 Minute Time Limit
Referee: Hiroyoshi Tangara
This match featured the debut of two new junior heavyweights, as
well as the BSPW return of Kyohei Yamada. Sekigun entered first,
all four being received warmly. VioMAX + Suzuki were next, and
were of course booed. Suzuki and KENJI, the debuting wrestlers,
started the match out. They paced for a few moments, KENJI
testing Suzuki with some kicks to the thigh. They locked up,
Suzuki shooting an elbow to KENJI's head and twisting him in an
armwringer, before unceremoniously kicking him down low! KENJI
fell to the mat, VioMAX entering and all four laying the boots to
KENJI. GALLEON, Yunome and Yoshida broke things up, and for a few
minutes things turned into a brawl, all eight fighting around the
ringside area. Things settled down, rivals Yujita and Yunome in
the ring. They had some very good exchanges on the mat, working
well together as they are getting quite familiar with one another
by now. Yujita got the upper hand, cheating by low blowing Yunome
and then shoving him into the corner. He charged, leaping for a
dropkick, but Yunome dodged! Yujita quickly stood, Yunome
catching him with a leaping front cradle for a flash 2.5! Both
scrambled to their feet, Yunome going for the same move but
Yujita catching him this time, slamming him stomach-first,
reverse powerbomb style! Yujita tagged out to Mikami, who toyed
with Yunome with some kicks for a little while. Eventually Yunome
tagged out to GALLEON, who rushed Mikami with some middle kicks.
Mikami attempted a whip, GALLEON reversing before catching Mikami
with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! He covered, Mikami kicking out
at 2. GALLEON whipped Mikami into the VioMAX corner and charged,
but Kyohei Yamada made a blind tag and intercepted GALLEON with a
kick to the stomach. Yamada attempted a snap suplex but GALLEON
slipped behind. He went for a German suplex but Kyohei flipped
through, before kicking him from behind with THE DONG~!. Yamada
tossed GALLEON to the outside, before pointing at Yoshida and
screaming for him to enter the ring. Yoshida obliged, entering
the ring to some cheers. He and Yamada paced each other, locking
up shortly after. Yoshida smoothly took Kyohei down, fireman's
carrying him to the mat before transitioning into a butterfly
lock. Yamada fought the hold, but before he even had a chance to
make the ropes his partners entered the ring, triple-teaming
Yoshida and stomping him to the mat! They brought Yoshida up,
Mikami and Yujita crossing his arms as Kyohei and Suzuki backed
up, before hitting a double DONG~! (#3 and 4 of the match!).
Mikami and Yujita hooked Yoshida from behind, hitting him with an
innovated double-Aztec suplex! Kyohei quickly covered, but
Yoshida kicked out at 2! Mikami, Yujita and Suzuki left, Yamada
and Yoshida wrestling back and forth for a few minutes. Yoshida
kept getting the lead, but each time Yamada would take a
shortcut. Eventually they tagged back out, leaving the match at
Suzuki vs. KENJI once more. KENJI took the lead this time,
attacking with kicks before slamming Suzuki down, going up and
connecting with a moonsault press, Mikami saving at 2! Mikami and
Suzuki pulled KENJI up, Suzuki going up top. Mikami held KENJI
for a missile dropkick but KENJI moved, Suzuki hitting Mikami!
KENJI grabbed Suzuki, shoving him into the VioMAX corner before
setting him up for the Misty Flip (Ace Crusher > run up
backflip reverse DDT). He leapt with the move, but during the
flip Suzuki reversed, crotching KENJI on the top rope! Yamada
went up top, leaping off and spearing KENJI with a missile
dropkick, sending him crashing to the outside! He stood shortly
after, but Yamada wiped him out with an insane swandive tornillo!
GALLEON hit the ring, Akitoshi Mikami meeting him. The two began
exchanging kicks, before GALLEON caught a Mikami middle kick and
twisted him 180, leaping onto his shoulders and rolling him up in
his shoulder hook roll, Suzuki barely saving at 2.5! Kyohei
Yamada returned, attacking GALLEON. The two fought for a few
moments, Yamada getting the upper hand before smacking GALLEON
with the Andromeda. He set him up for the KY Buster, but Yoshida
returned, leaping off of the top and missile dropkicking Yamada,
sending both he and GALLEON crashing to the mat! Yamada rolled
outside, Yoshida following and the two brawling briefly. In the
ring Yujita and Suzuki double teamed an incoming Yunome, Yujita
powerbombing him down while Suzuki went to the other side and
dropped him with a neckbreaker at the same time. Suzuki covered,
Yunome kicking out at 2.5! Yujita pulled Yunome up, hooking him
and dumping him with the Gaikokujou Suplex! He bridged for the
cover, getting...2.9, KENJI making a surprise return to save!
Suzuki attacked KENJI, Yunome rolling out of the ring. In the end
it was Suzuki and KENJI in the ring. Yoshi Yujita kicked KENJI
down low from behind (#5) and hooked him, nailing a released
Gaikokujou Suplex! Suzuki quickly grabbed Yunome and cradled him
with the Renegade (Gedo) Clutch, Yamada brawling with Yoshida on
the outside, Mikami holding GALLEON off, and Referee Tangara
counting the three!
Winners: "Bad Genome" Kyohei Yamada, Akihiro
Suzuki, Yoshi Yujita, Akitoshi Mikami
Finishing Move: Renegade Clutch (Suzuki to KENJI)
Time Of Match: 15:07
Rating: ***
After the match the two sides continued to fight, the heel side
especially getting into it and using weapons. Eventually ring
staff separated the two sides, and both exited on their own.
Match 6
PRO-WRESTLING FURY JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
KANJI Sakaigama [C]
vs. ATSUKA
1 Fall, 60 Minute Time Limit
Referee: Hiroyoshi Tangara
After months of fighting between both men, destiny has brought
them to the remains of the former Kawasaki Stadium. Yoshihiro
Fujinaka introduced the next match before "Emerald
City" begins to play over the large speaker set up. The hot
Kawasaki crowd immediately joined in with chants of
"AHHT-SKAH!" which led to the entrance of the
challenger. ATSUKA jogged his way towards the ring in his
big-match "Emerald" green trench coat. ATSUKA plays to
the Kawasaki fans that throw him even more support. Fujinaka
introduced the champion, who came down to "PORNO STAR"
by SAD. Both men stood in opposite corners as KANJI's music died
down. The crowd was clearly in support of ATSUKA going into the
match. ATSUKA, who is usually more receptive and responsive
towards the fans stayed entirely focused on what was in front of
him. FURY Vice Principal Hiroshita Yagato entered the ring and
read the declaration for the FURY Jr. Heavyweight title. KANJI
stepped forward and handed Yagato the title, but not before
shouting Yagato the middle finger, getting some heavy boos from
the crowd. Fujinaka begins the formal... "Chousensha...
AAAAHT-SKAAAAAAAH!!!!" The crowd showers the ring with green
and black streamers as ATSUKA uncharacteristically remains in his
position, ready to fight... "Difendinguchanpion...
KAAANJEEE... SAKA-EEEEEGAMAAAAH!!!" KANJI plays to the fans
who shower him with black streamers. Referee Hiroyoshi Tangara
held up the FURY Jr. Heavyweight title to the fans, showing what
was at stake. The crowd became even rowdier as the bell drew
near... The gong finally sounded and both KANJI and ATSUKA
simultaneously charged at each other. Both wrestlers just start
slugging each other with punches and kicks as Tangara jumps in to
separate them, Tangara pulls ATSUKA away, but KANJI takes this
chance to pounce onto ATSUKA's back, landing several rabbit
punches. Tangara gets onto KANJI and threatens a
disqualification, but KANJI shoves Tangara aside and goes back to
kicking ATSUKA in the stomach. KANJI whips ATSUKA into the
opposite corner and soon follows him in with a lariat, but ATSUKA
moves out of the way, sending KANJI crashing chest first into the
turnbuckle. ATSUKA rolls away as KANJI staggers backwards. ATSUKA
gets a running start and hits KANJI in the back with the PUNK
Dropkick, sending KANJI crashing back into the turnbuckle! ATSUKA
turns KANJI around and plants a blistering palm slap onto KANJI's
chest, before hitting him with a back elbow. ATSUKA whips KANJI
into the opposite turnbuckle and rushes in, and like last time,
KANJI also rolls out of the way, but ATSUKA jumps onto the second
turnbuckle and catches KANJI off guard with a Flying
Headscissors, sending KANJI to the outside! ATSUKA gets to his
feet and sees KANJI stunned on the floor. He comes off the ropes
looking for a plancha of some sort, but KANJI suddenly jumps onto
the apron and catches ATSUKA in the side of the head with a High
kick! ATSUKA stumbles around the head from the shot as KANJI
leaps in. ATSUKA shrugs it off and charges towards KANJI, only to
be hit with another High Kick, catching ATSUKA in the mouth!
KANJI quickly hooks the leg, but ATSUKA kicks out after two, with
the fans applauding the action so far. KANJI stalks over ATSUKA,
and nudges him with his boot to add insult to injury. ATSUKA
crawls and grabs a hold of KANJI's ankle, and KANJI lives it up,
but gets his focus back on the match as he drops a double axe
handle to ATSUKA's back. He pulls ATSUKA to his feet and whips
him into the ropes. ATSUKA bounces back and DUCKS KANJI's high
kick, and comes off the ropes again catching KANJI with a Flying
Elbow smash! ATSUKA gets to his feet and pulls KANJI up, hitting
him with short elbows before bringing him over with a Snapmare.
ATSUKA comes off the ropes again and goes for a Seated Dropkick,
but KANJI rolls out of the way and catches a scrambling ATSUKA
with a three stiff Middle kicks, and finally ANOTHER stiff high
kick to the side of the head as ATSUKA drops to his knees as
KANJI sizes ATSUKA up for a big head kick. KANJI swings
violently, but misses as ATSUKA ducks the shot, and with KANJI
spun around, ATSUKA reaches from under KANJI and grabs his arm
before applying a unique Mexican cradle! The crowd goes wild in
surprise as Tangara counts, but KANJI quickly kicks out after
two! KANJI quickly scrambles to his feet and rushes towards
ATSUKA, who shoves him into the ropes. As KANJI comes back,
ATSUKA ducks and attempts that same cradle, however KANJI
counters it with a sit down and applies a Goku-raku Gatame! KANJI
pulls back, literally strangling ATSUKA with his arm arms while
applying tremendous pressure to ATSUKA's back. KANJI keeps the
hold firmly applied for almost a minute before releasing it, and
driving his knee into ATSUKA's back. He pulls ATSUKA up and whips
him into the corner, and follows in and connects with a Jumping
Back Heel kick, sending ATSUKA into a seated position in the
corner. KANJI stomps the downed ATSUKA in the corner, and starts
ripping at ATSUKA's face with his boot, inciting the crowd to a
severe degree! KANJI pulls ATSUKA out of the corner, and tries to
keep him down with a jumping knee drop. KANJI then scales the top
rope, looking for a Moonsault Press. However, he wastes much time
in playing to the crowd, but finally dives back with the
Moonsault, BUT MISSES! ATSUKA rolls onto the edge of the ring and
gets up, waiting for KANJI... KANJI slowly gets up as ATSUKA
springs off the ropes and catches KANJI in the back of the head
with a Missile Kick! ATSUKA once again on the apron and waits for
KANJI to get up... and hits him with another Springboard Missile
Kick! ATSUKA continues with a third attempt, and KANJI gets to
his feet very slowly, and gets hit with a THIRD! ATSUKA goes to
the apron again, and waits for KANJI, who takes his time to get
up... ATSUKA comes off the ropes again, this time hitting a
Springboard Kneel Kick, getting a huge reaction from the crowd!
ATSUKA rolls KANJI over and goes for the pin, but KANJI kicks out
at two! A mixture of cheers and applause ring from the crowd.
ATSUKA takes a moment to get some air, but suddenly jumps up and
shouts "ATSKAH TWEESTAAAH!!!" He pulls KANJI up and
sets up the move... but KANJI fights as ATSUKA tries to lift...
ATSUKA tries again, but KANJI struggles, and lands a few shots in
ATSUKA's kidney, before dropping ATSUKA out of desperation with
the Michinoku Driver II! Both wrestlers lay motionless as the hot
crowd cheers and applaud. KANJI slowly rolls over and makes the
pin as Tangara counts, but ATSUKA kicks out at two! More stalling
from the wrestlers, but they soon get to their feet. ATSUKA
swings with a wild punch, but KANJI ducks and grabs a waistlock,
trying for a German suplex, but ATSUKA fights it, and breaks free
while gripping KANJI's arm... KANJI gets the waistlock again and
tries to lift ATSUKA, but ATSUKA breaks free, once again grabbing
a hold of KANJI's arm. KANJI is able to secure the Waistlock
again, and this time hits a German Suplex hold! Tangara counts,
but only gets two, and ATSUKA immediately applies a Chickenwing
Armlock! He torques KANJI's arm, trying to get a submission
victory, but KANJI remains resilient. After about a minute in the
hold, KANJI remarkably reaches the ropes with his foot for the
break. ATSUKA quickly jumps up and pulls KANJI to his feet, and
whips him into the ropes. KANJI ducks ATSUKA's lariat, and
catches him in the head with another High kick! ATSUKA stumbles
around before stepping into KANJI's grasp. KANJI hoists ATSUKA up
and after letting the blood rush to his head, he drops him with
the Hanging Brainbuster!! KANJI goes for the pin, hooking the leg
as Tangara counts... *ONE! ...TWO! ...THR-KICKOUT!* The crowd
explodes in cheers for ATSUKA. KANJI continues to stay focused on
ATSUKA and pulls him back up for what looks like a second
Brainbuster... but ATSUKA struggles and fights... before grabbing
KANJI's leg and hitting the ATSUKA Twister! ATSUKA rolls over and
makes the pin as Tangara counts... "ONE! ...TWO!!
...TH-KICKOUT!!* The crowd bursts in "OOOHHHH"'s as
both men lay motionless on the mat. Both men seem to get up at
the same time... but KANJI suddenly dashes and goes for the
Violence Flash, BUT ATSUKA BLOCKS THE KICK! ATSUKA charges
towards KANJI and HITS A SHINING GAMENGIRI! ATSUKA kipps up and
pulls KANJI near the turnbuckle... ATSUKA climbs up backwards...
AND CONNECTS WITH THE OSAKA STARDUST! ATSUKA HOOKS THE LEG...
TANGARA COUNTS *ONE!! ...TWO!! ...THR-KICKOUT!!!* The crowd
explodes in shock and applause as chants of
"KAAANJEEE!" break out. ATSUKA leaps up and charges
Tangara into the corner, arguing the count. ATSUKA returns to the
match and climbs up the turnbuckle once more, perhaps looking for
a second Osaka Stardust... but KANJI gets up and crotches ATSUKA
on the ropes! KANJI climbs up behind ATSUKA, which could only be
his devastating Death Lake Driver!! KANJI grabs both of ATSUKA's
arms and tries to execute the move, but ATSUKA locks his legs
around the turnbuckles, and gives KANJI three hard elbows that
leave him subdued. ATSUKA jumps onto the apron and climbs back
into the ring before grabbing KANJI off the ropes... he gets a
running start before hitting the AC-Z!!! ATSUKA rolls KANJI over
and makes the pin as Tangara counts *ONE! ...TWO!!
....THR-KICKOUT!!* The crowd goes absolutely insane, and throws
more calls out to KANJI! ATSUKA pounds the mat in frustration,
but regains his composure... He waits for KANJI to get to his
feet, and he goes very slowly... ATSUKA runs towards the ropes
and jumps up each rope before rebounding back at KANJI with the
Osaka Crush, BUT KANJI DUCKS THE KICK, AND CATCHES ATSUKA WITH
THE VIOLENCE FLASH! KANJI makes the pin... *ONE!! ...TWO!!
...THRE-KICKOUT!!!* Once again, more "OOOOOHHH!!!!!"'s
from the crowd as both wrestlers seem lifeless. KANJI pulls
himself up with the aid of the ropes as soon ATSUKA does too...
KANJI swings with a High kick, but ATSUKA blocks it and counters
with a Rolling Solebutt and two hard elbow shots... KANJI
staggers back as ATSUKA comes off the ropes with a Jumping Knee,
but KANJI blocks that as well, when out of nowhere ATSUKA HITS
THE ATSUKA CUTTER! He pulls KANJI up and hits a quick ATSUKA
Twister! ATSUKA kipps up once again, but this time with a look of
fire in his eyes... he shouts out to the crowd "EMERALD
DUSSSTOOHH!!!!!!" as he pulls KANJI up and shoves him into
the corner. He lifts KANJI onto the turnbuckle. He jumps onto the
apron and climbs up behind KANJI, grabbing KANJI from behind,
while taking his time to set up the move... ATSUKA suddenly leaps
forward, taking KANJI with him AND DRILLING KANJI HEAD FIRST INTO
THE MAT AT A SICK ANGLE! The crowd goes absolutely crazy! ATSUKA

his arms. The crowd rallies in chants of "AT-SKAH!"
FURY VP Hiroshita Yagato enters the ring and raises ATSUKA's hand
as the winner, but ATSUKA suddenly pulls away... He stands before
Yagato and drops to his knees again and thrusts the belt towards
Yagato, signaling that he is vacating the title. Yoshihiro
Fujinaka hands a microphone to ATSUKA...
ATSUKA: "Yagato-sama... This belt signifies
my growth as a fighter... I did what nobody said I could do; I
took KANJI's spirit, and his title. This belt does not belong to
me. It belongs to FURY! I am a Burning Spirit Fighter, now a FURY

this belt more then me... Besides, I have a bigger goal ahead of
me..."
ATSUKA hands Yagato the title as they shake hands before Yagato
leaves the ring."
ATSUKA: "I have a bigger goal ahead of

Match 7
"Solid K" Mitsuaki Komura, Jiro Yamashita & Kenji
Yujiro vs. Keichi Sakaguchi, Minobu Tetsuhara & Katsumi
Hirata
1 Fall, 30 Minute Time Limit
Referee: Yoshiyuki Okano
This match featured the debut of no less than four new Burning
Spirit stars. Team Sakaguchi entered first, getting a warm pop
from the crowd, who were especially taken to Minobu Tetsuhara
after his recent showings. Team Komura were next, the (formerly)
indy trio getting a nice reaction, especially Komura, who has
competed in larger groups in the past so is more well known. Team
captains Komura and Sakaguchi started things out, having a test
of strength mid-ring. The much bigger Sakaguchi won out, forcing
Komura into the buckle before attacking with knee lifts. Komura
powered out, though, shoving Sakaguchi back before clocking him
with a _stiff_ headbutt! Sakaguchi was dazed, Komura charging out
of the buckle and sending him down with an elbow smash! Komura
locked on an STF, Sakaguchi struggling for the ropes. Tetsuhara
and Hirata tried to break, but Yamashita and Yujiro held them
back. It was still much too early, though, and Sakaguchi refused
to quit, eventually making it to the ropes. Komura tagged out to
Yamashita, while Sakaguchi tagged out to Hirata. The two paced
for a moment before Jiro tried to lock up, but found himself
nailed by a Hirata axe kick to the shoulder! He cried out,
gripping his shoulder before Hirata nearly took his head off with
a kneel kick! A cover got 2, Yujiro entering the ring to break
things up. The two sides traded moves for the next few minutes,
neither getting an upper hand though a few near falls were made.
At the 8 minute mark Kenji Yujiro and Minobu Tetsuhara were
tagged in for the first time, the two charging each other and
attacking with duel lariats! They both hit the ropes, charging
back and coming up with the same result. Once more they ran the
ropes, but this time Minobu ducked Yujiro's lariat, hooking his
arms and dumping him on his head with a release tiger suplex!
Yujiro rolled outside, Komura stepping in to some cheers. Komura
and Tetsuhara locked up, Komura shoving Minobu into the corner
before unloading with an elbow rush to the neck! Komura whipped
Tetsuhara to the opposite buckle, Minobu bouncing off chest-first
and being hooked, Komura driving him down with a full-nelson
facebuster! Komura hooked a leg, getting 2.5 before Hirata broke
things up. Minobu evened the score a minute later, ducking a
lariat and hitting a BIG reverse hurricanrana, Komura's head
bouncing off the mat! He covered, getting 2.9, Komura kicking
out! Minobu tagged out to Sakaguchi, who waited as Komura stood
before nailing him with the "Maniakku Knee" (Jumping
knee attack)! Komura rolled outside, Jiro Yamashita climbing up
top before nailing Sakaguchi in the back with a missile dropkick!
Yamashita pulled Keichi up, spiking him with an exploder for 2.5.
He went for a wrist-clutch exploder, but Katsumi Hirata caught
him with an enzuigiri! Kenji Yujiro hit the ring, charging off
the ropes and clocking Hirata with the Yujiro Bomber! He covered,
getting 2.5, Minobu Tetsuhara saving! Minobu waited for Yujiro to
stand, before taking his head off with a huge high kick! He
covered, getting...2.5, Komura returning to save! Minobu rolled
outside, Sakaguchi returning. The two paced for a moment, before
locking up again and going into another test of strength. Unlike
at the start of the match, Komura won this time, forcing
Sakaguchi into the corner before UNLOADING with an elbow rush!
Sakaguchi slumped down into the buckle, Komura calling in Jiro
Yamashita, who hit the ropes and dropkicked Keichi right in the
face! Yamashita rolled to the outside, Komura covering for a
CLOSE 2.5! Komura pulled Sakaguchi up, hooking him in a standing
fireman's carry, attempting a Death Valley Bomb. Sakaguchi
slipped behind, though, Komura turning but catching a knee kick
attempt! Komura release the knee, spinning Sakaguchi 360 and
nearly taking his head off with a short-range lariat! Komura
signaled to his partners, who cleared the apron, before pulling
Sakaguchi up. He hooked him in a brainbuster, before twisting and
dropping the big man with a stunner (the "Shotgun")!
Komura hooked a leg, getting a debut win!
Winners: "Solid K" Mitsuaki Komura, Jiro
Yamashita & Kenji Yujiro
Finishing Move: Shotgun (Komura to Sakaguchi)
Time Of Match: 16:30

The fans gave all six a warm ovation after the match, and all six
shook hands mid-ring. Komura, Yujiro and Yamashita then shook
hands, respectfully bowing to each other before leaving the
ringside area.
Match 8
BURNING SPIRIT REVIVAL
Yoshikazu Kanda & "MAMMOTH" Furiano vs.
"Puroresu Powerhouse" Kazuma Fujita & "The
Egotist" Jason Roswell [FREE]
1 Fall, 30 Minute Time Limit
Referee: Yoshiyuki Okano
This match, the first of two main events of the evening, was a
real dream match for long time Burning Spirit Pro Wrestling fans.
"The Egotist" Jason Roswell, the first Golden Crown
Champion, entered first to a warm reaction to the Kawasaki crowd.
Roswell, clad in his usual wrestling outfit (that has recently
raised the ire of Kanda), slapped a few hands on the way to the
ring, as green spotlights lit up the now-darkened sky. Next was
the "Puroresu Powerhouse" Kazuma Fujita, who received
the biggest reaction of the night thus far! The crowd popped
huge, with "FOO-JI-TAH! FOO-JI-TAH!" chants ringing
throughout the parking lot! Yellow fireworks shot off as Fujita
made his way down the ramp, a very impressive sight. He stepped
into the ring, shaking hands with Roswell (which got another big
pop) before standing in their corner. "Biohazard" hit,
the near 10,000 fans rising to their feet and screaming out
chants of "FOO-RI-AHNO"! Yellow fireworks shot off for
Furiano as well, the new BSPW hero stepping out onto the set as
the crowd roared louder! Furiano stoically marched to the ring,
stepping in and waiting in his corner. "DEVIL WING" by
Sex Machineguns was next, and during the lengthy opening of the
song, blue spotlights shined throughout the crowd. Finally when
the guitar picked up blue fireworks EXPLODED on the set and into
the air, lighting up the night sky! "Mr. Puroresu 2000"
Yoshikazu Kanda appeared, wearing his big match robe and being
greeted by deafening "KAN-DAH! KAN-DAH!" chants! Kanda,
like Furiano, paid little attention to the crowd as he stalked
down the ramp, stepping into the ring and heading to his corner
as "DEVIL WING" shut off. The crowd was white hot
during introductions as well, and before it was over the ring was
flooded with streamers. It was decided that Furiano and Roswell
would start the match out. The two paced for a little while,
before Furiano tried a lockup. Roswell dodged him, though, using
his speed to throw Furiano off balance before striking with a
dropkick! Furiano staggered, but didn't go down. They paced
again, and Furiano again tried a lockup, and once more Roswell
dodged, this time hitting the ropes and attacking with a leaping
forearm smash. Furiano staggered again, but used the ropes to
stay up. They paced for a final time, and Furiano again went for
the lockup. As Roswell dodged Furiano stopped, though, turning
around and kicking Roswell RIGHT IN THE FACE with a standing high
kick! Roswell dropped to the mat, the crowd letting out an
"OHHH!". For the next few minutes Furiano and Kanda
isolated Roswell, using their size advantage to pound him into
the mat on several occasions. At the 5 minute mark, when in
against Furiano again, Furiano went for an early backdrop suplex.
Roswell flipped behind, landing on his feet before clocking
"MAMMOTH" with an enzuigiri! Furiano fell to a knee,
Roswell running the ropes and dropkicking him in face, repaying
the favor from earlier! Roswell covered, but only got one. He
quickly tagged out to Fujita, who entered the ring and pulled
Furiano to his feet. Fujita fired off a chop to the chest, but
Furiano responded in kind. Rather than be dragged into a battle
Fujita grabbed Furiano's head, unleashing a flurry of knife-edge
chops to the neck! Furiano, dazed, staggered against the ropes.
He let out a scream, before charging and taking Fujita down with
a BIG European uppercut! Furiano tagged out to Kanda, the crowd
cheering loudly for the Kanda/Fujita pairing. Kanda pulled Fujita
up but quickly shoved his head back down, attacking with a
trifect of step kicks before pulling him up and BLASTING him with
an elbow smash! Fujita was dazed, Kanda hitting the ropes and
aiming a Yakuza kick. Fujita dodged, though, turning around and
SMACKING Kanda with one of his (Kanda's) popular guh punches!
Fujita fired off two more, before quickly going behind Kanda and
attempting a backdrop suplex. Kanda elbowed wildly as Fujita
lifted him, being dropped back down to his feet. He turned
around, before popping Fujita right in the eye with one of his
UNMATCHABLE guh punches! The crowd popped as he hit it, and then
another. Kanda held Fujita in place and aimed an enzuigiri, but
Fujita managed to duck! Fujita saw an opening to wear down Kanda,
quickly locking Kanda in a reverse chinlock. Kanda reached for
the ropes, Fujita pulling back. Kanda slowly crawled to the
ropes, and was in no danger of submitting when he grabbed them a
little while later. Fujita tagged out to Roswell, who entered the
ring as Kanda stood and began to shake the stiffness out of his
neck. The two locked up center ring, Kanda overpowering Roswell
and shoving him into the corner. He attacked with some chops,
that sounded brutal even though Roswell's shirt. Kanda whipped
Roswell to the opposite buckle, charging in himself, but looked
surprised when Roswell ran UP the buckle! Roswell quickly leapt
off, sending Kanda to the mat with a big missile dropkick to the
chest! Kanda began to sit up but Roswell bounced off the ropes,
hitting a Hennig Special. He pulled Kanda up, and the crowd
gasped as the much smaller Roswell hooked Kanda for a Tiger
Suplex! Kanda swung his arms, easily powering out. Roswell
quickly ran the ropes again, but ran straight into a DISGUSTING
guh punch! The force of the punch knocked Roswell back, his legs
slipping off of the mat and Roswell himself hitting back first.
Kanda covered, but Roswell managed to kick out at 2. Kanda pulled
Roswell up, shoving him into a neutral corner. He attacked with
more chops, a THUD ringing out as his hand collided with fabric.
Suddenly Kanda reached over to Roswell's neck, grabbing his shirt
and making good on his promise by ripping a large hole in it!
Kanda reared back, SMACKING Roswell with a DISGUSTING chop to the
chest, the force of which knocking Roswell off his feet and up
against the buckle! He fired off three more equally stiff shots,
Roswell's chest now marked with gigantic red handprints. Kanda
whipped Roswell to the opposite corner, before following in and
nearly taking his head off with a Crush Roller! Roswell slumped
to the mat, Kanda pulling him mid ring before covering for 2.5,
Fujita saving! Kanda pulled Roswell up, before bodyslamming him
right back down. He went up top, leaping off and crushing Roswell
with a MASSIVE diving elbow drop! He leaned over for the cover,
Furiano holding Fujita back, but Roswell BARELY kicking out at
2.9! Some duel chants of "KAN-DAH!" and
"ROS-WELL!" started up, Kanda getting up and pulling
Roswell back up. He attempted an irish whip, but Roswell
REVERSED, Kanda hitting the ropes and being taken down with a
hurricanrana! Roswell hooked Kanda's legs, but Kanda managed to
kick out at 2! Both stood, Kanda aiming a uraken but Roswell
ducking under, hitting the ropes and nailing a spinning heel
kick, Kanda going down! Roswell quickly tagged out to Fujita, who
gave the signal for the Fujita Lariat! Kanda pulled himself up,
Fujita charging and aiming the lariat, but Kanda DUCKED! Fujita
quickly turned, running right into a guh punch! Fujita shrugged
it off, firing off a guh punch of his own! An angry Kanda grabbed
Fujita by the head, pulling him down and attacking with step
kicks! Fujita hit the mat after the final shot, Kanda tagging out
to Furiano. Fujita got to his feet, Furiano grabbing him and
assaulting him with an elbow rush! Fujita staggered back,
attempting to charge Furiano but being floored with another
European uppercut. Furiano called for the end, pulling Fujita up.
He hooked him for a Backdrop Driver, but Fujita kicked his legs
wildly, before elbowing Furiano in the neck. Fujita turned
around, grabbing Furiano by the throat and slamming him with a
Nodowa Otoshi! He covered, Furiano kicking out at 2. Fujita
pulled Furiano up, hooking him from behind in a half-nelson. The
crowd gasped, Fujita using his considerable strength to pull
"MAMMOTH" up, DUMPING him on his neck with a
half-nelson suplex! Fujita quickly hooked the leg, Roswell
crossing the ring to keep Kanda at bay, but Furiano kicked out at
2.5!! Fujita quickly rolled Furiano over, before hooking his arms
around the big man's neck and locking in his Kataha-Jime! Furiano
thrashed on the mat, trying to escape the hold. Fujita kept the
hold on tight, Roswell desperately holding the larger Kanda back.
Furiano refused to give up, and after a minute Kanda managed to
shove Roswell aside, leaping onto Fujita to break the hold!
Fujita got to his feet, pulling Furiano up. He whipped
"MAMMOTH" to the ropes, before attempting his rarely
used Head Spike Mountain Bomb. Furiano slipped behind, though,
hooking Fujita's arms in a full nelson and tossing him on his
neck with a released Dragon suplex! The crowd screamed, with some
"FURI-ANOH!!" calls. Furiano slowly rolled Fujita over,
laying on top for the cover, but Roswell BARELY saved at 2.5!
Fujita rolled out of the ring, dazed, as Kanda attacked Roswell.
He whipped him to the ropes, ducking down for perhaps a back
bodydrop, but Roswell reversed into a sunset flip for 2! Both
stood, Roswell feeding Kanda a leg before smacking him with an
enzuigiri. Roswell went for a whip of his own, but Kanda
reversed, whipping Roswell right into Furiano's path, Furiano
taking Roswell down with a powerslam! He hooked a leg, but
Roswell managed to kick out at 2.5! Furiano backed off, Roswell
getting to his feet. Kanda took control, firing off a couple of
guh punches to Roswell's face, the first Golden Crown Champion
staggering but refusing to go down. Some "JAE-SAN!"
calls were shouted, as Roswell stood dazed mid-ring. Furiano
nodded to Kanda, both men taking off in opposite directions. They
charged back, before KILLING Roswell with a DISGUSTING sandwich
running double high kick, Furiano catching Roswell in the face
while Kanda caught him in the back of the head! Roswell dropped
to the mat, out cold, as Fujita began to stand on the outside. He
did so, Kanda jumping out of the ring and attacking him! Furiano
rolled Roswell over, hooking the leg and getting the huge three
count!
Winners: Yoshikazu Kanda & "MAMMOTH" Furiano
Finishing Move: Sandwich Double Running High Kick (Kanda/Furiano
to Roswell)
Time Of Match: 23:59
Rating: ***1/2
The crowd popped huge after the match, with dueling chants for
Kanda and Furiano, as well as some for Roswell and Fujita. Kanda
and Furiano soaked in the ovation, as Fujita helped a dazed
Roswell to his feet. The two sides had a brief staredown, but the
ice was broken when Fujita offered the two a handshake. Furiano
accepted, and then shook hands with Roswell, before exiting,
Kanda doing the same. Fujita and Roswell left shortly after, and
then it was time for the main event...
Match 9 - MAIN EVENT
BSPW GOLDEN CROWN CHAMPIONSHIP
"The Superstar" Jason Ramsey
vs. Genji Yamato
1 Fall, 60 Minute Time Limit
Referee: Yoshiyuki Okano
The gong tolled as the crowd quieted down. Yoshihiro Fujinaka
stepped back into the ring and announced the next match as the
main event as the crowd bursts in cheers and applause.
"Climbatize," The Prodigy plays over the Kawasaki
speaker set up as the entire crowd rallies behind the native
favorite. Chants of "YA-MA-TO!" come over the parking
lot as Genji Yamato steps out, immediately playing up to the
fans. After entering the ring, Yamato climbs onto the second
turnbuckle and again plays to the fans, garnering a huge
reaction. "Gimme The Prize" by Queen begins to play as
the BSPW GC Champion Jason Ramsey enters. The crowd gives him a
generous reaction, but not as much as their native favorite.
However, Ramsey slowly gets more and more of a reaction as he
calls out to the fans. BSPW President Koji Tanaka entered the
ring and read the declaration for the GC Title as Ramsey and
Yamato stared at each other from across the ring. Referee
Yoshiyuki Okano called for both men to step forward, and as they
did, their stern look only intensified. Okano explained the rules
and called for both wrestlers to return to their corner, but
neither man budged. A scowl came over Yamato's face more and more
after every second... but he suddenly smiles and offers a
handshake, getting a lighthearted reaction from the fans. Ramsey
laughed and accepted the gesture, but Yamato pulled back and
SLAPPED Ramsey in the face! The gong sounded and Yamato attacks
Ramsey with more palm slaps, catching Ramsey in the face. Ramsey
gets backed into a corner as Yamato further slaps him with
knife-edge chops, catching Ramsey in the chest. Yamato hits
Ramsey with a rush of three chops when Ramsey suddenly reawakens
and pulls Yamato into the corner and hits three chops of his own!
Yamato returns the favor and gives Ramsey a rush of four chops
this time! Ramsey absorbs the pain and once again retaliates
against Yamato with four more chops! Yamato staggers back into
the corner, but quickly comes back out and hits Ramsey with FIVE
blistering chops! Ramsey staggers back as Yamato catches him with
a shoulder block, knocking him down. Ramsey rolls back to his
feet and comes off the ropes hitting Yamato with his own shoulder
block, but Yamato merely staggers back. Ramsey comes off the
ropes again and hits him with a second shoulder block. Yamato
staggers again, but a tad more then before. Ramsey comes off the
ropes again and goes for a third shoulder block, however Yamato
shifts the momentum and throws Ramsey over the ropes and onto the
floor. Ramsey finally gets back to his feet, but gets hit from
Yamato's Plancha! The crowd erupts and begins in chants of
"YA-MA-TO!" Yamato slowly gets to his feet and pulls
Ramsey up, before hitting him with a Northern Chop atop of
Ramsey's head! Yamato goes to whip Ramsey into the rails, but
Ramsey reverses the Irish whip, sending Yamato crashing back
first into the metal rail! He follows him in and JARS Yamato with
a stiff elbow to the jaw. He pulls Yamato out a little bit and
stuffs Yamato's head between his legs... The crowd anticipates
what looks like a Piledriver on the Kawasaki floor! Ramsey
lifts... but Yamato kicks his feet wildly. Ramsey tries it again,
but Yamato drops down to one knee. Ramsey pulls Yamato up and
rocks him with a rush of elbows before stuffing him back between
his legs. He lifts him again and gets him up! ...But Yamato
struggles and gets back down before using a Back Body Drop on
Ramsey to counter the Piledriver! Yamato pulls Ramsey up and
rolls him into the ring and follows him in. Yamato waits for
Ramsey to get to his feet, and as he does, Yamato comes off the
ropes and hits Ramsey with a hard Lariat, sending the defending
champion down! Yamato makes the cover, but Ramsey kicks out after
two! Yamato stalls for a moment to get some air, but quickly
jumps up and bounces off the ropes before dropping an elaborate
elbow onto Ramsey's chest. He pulls Ramsey to his feet and whips
him into the ropes. Ramsey comes back and gets hit with Yamato's
back elbow. With the champion stunned, Yamato grabs a waistlock
and attempts a German suplex... but Ramsey fights the move and
hits Yamato with four hard rear elbows before making the switch
to Yamato's back and cradling Yamato with a Backslide! Okano
counts *ONE! ..TWO! ..T-KICKOUT!* The crowd explodes in surprise
and applause as both men lay motionless for a couple of seconds.
Ramsey gets to his feet first and whips Yamato off into the
ropes. Ramsey tries to catch him with a high dropkick, but Yamato
avoids the attack and quickly tries to his Ramsey with the
Diamond Blue, but Ramsey gets his arms up and blocks Yamato's
knee! Ramsey jumps up and catches the charging Yamato with a hard
elbow, and spins around before blasting Yamato with a Rolling
Elbow! Yamato spins around as the champion grabs him from behind,
and hits a DANGEROUS BACKDROP SUPLEX! The Kawasaki Crowd jumps to
their feet and rabidly applauds the action before them! Ramsey
quickly goes for the pin as Okano counts *ONE! ...TWO!
...KICKOUT!* The fans cheer and applaud after the kick out,
before Ramsey pulls Yamato near the corner. He jumps and drops
both knees across Yamato's chest to keep him down before climbing
up the turnbuckle. He leaped from the ropes going for his Frog
Splash, BUT YAMATO ROLLS AWAY, and Ramsey flops face first onto
the mat! Yamato quickly jumps up and calls out to the crowd,
before catching the groggy champion WITH THE DIAMOND BLUE! Yamato
goes for the pin! *ONE! ...TWO!! ....TH-KICKOUT!!!* Yamato sits
up and questions the call, but quickly jumps back up and drags
him into the center of the ring. He grabs Ramsey in a front
Facelock and plays to the crowd, before dropping Ramsey on his
face with a DDT! Yamato rolls the champion over and pins... *ONE!
...TWO! .KICKOUT!* Yamato quickly applies a rear Chinlock to
subdue the champion. He drives his knee in between the shoulder
blades of Ramsey, and WRENCHES back on Ramsey's chin. After a
minute or so, Yamato applies the full sleeper hold, and brings
Ramsey down for more leverage. Many fans in the crowd call out
for Ramsey as the champion struggles to escape the hold. Ramsey
gets to his feet and hits Yamato with some quick palm slaps to
the stomach, trying to escape the submission hold. He gets some
momentum and tries to shove Yamato off, but Yamato stops him and
drops his arms into a grinding headlock... Ramsey drops to one
knee briefly, but gets back up and grips Yamato around the
waist... and hits a Backdrop Suplex! However, Yamato STILL has
the headlock applied! With Ramsey on his stomach, Yamato releases
the headlock, but grabs Ramsey's leg and applies a half crab
hold. He even starts stepping on Ramsey's head as he wrenches his
leg back for added humiliation. Ramsey reaches for the ropes, and
is able to get them as Yoshiyuki Okano calls for the break.
However, Yamato instead pulls Ramsey away from the ropes and
applies an STF! The crowd cries out further for Ramsey, and
chants of his name ring from the Kawasaki crowd. The champion
remains unshaken and slowly tries to reach for the ropes.
However, wear & tear start to set in, and the obvious look of
pain comes over the champion's scrunched up face, and he begins
desperately reaching for the ropes... Yamato suddenly released
the hold, and rolls Ramsey over for the pin as Okano counts...
*ONE! ...TWO! -KICKOUT!* Yamato pulls Ramsey up and bends him
over, before hitting him with a Northern Chop ACROSS THE NECK!
The champion drops down and clutches his neck in pain. Yamato
brings Ramsey back up and backs him into a corner and hits him
with a series of hard side chops to Ramsey's neck! Yamato whips
Ramsey into the opposite corner and comes rushing in and attacks
with a Jumping Knee, BUT RAMSEY ROLLS AWAY! Yamato's knee catches
the top turnbuckle and Yamato spills over the top rope and hits
the Kawasaki floor HARD! Yamato's second Tetsuo Tange rushes to
his side and checks on him. It becomes obvious that Yamato is
hurt on the floor, and is apparently holding his left leg.
Yoshiyuki Okano stops his count out of concern and jumps outside.
Okano calls an in-match time out, as he looks over Yamato
further. Okano asking Yamato if he wants to stop the match can be
heard, but Yamato clearly wants to continue, and pulls himself up
with the help of Tange. The Kawasaki crowd roars in applause for
Yamato as he rolls back into the ring with a noticeable limp.
Okano shouted, "FIGHT!" and the match resumed. Ramsey
and Yamato both circle around each other before locking up.
Ramsey took full advantage of the situation and quickly ducks
down and took Yamato down by his injured leg and drags him to the
middle of the ring and applies an old school technique, the
Spinning Toe Hold! The crowd cries out for Yamato as Ramsey works
over his left leg. Ramsey then tries for his Figure Four Leg
lock, but Yamato has it well scouted, and shoves Ramsey off with
his other leg, sending him chest first into the ropes. Ramsey
staggers back and walks into Yamato's schoolboy! *ONE! ..TWO!!
..THR-KICKOUT!!!* Ramsey BARELY escapes Yamato's flash cradle as
the ENTIRE Kawasaki crowd EXPLODES in cheers! Ramsey scrambles to
his feet and charges towards Yamato, only to be caught with a
LARIAT! Both wrestlers are laid out on the mat as the cheers for
both wrestlers. Yamato suddenly awakens and jumps to his feet,
before crying out to the fans! While still limping, Yamato
charges at Ramsey as he gets back up, and attempts ANOTHER
DIAMOND BLUE... But Ramsey blocks it again, and quickly turns
Yamato over and applies a CROSS KNEE SCISSORS HOLD ON YAMATO'S
INJURED LEG! Yamato desperately tries to fight the hold as the
crowd erupts in chants of "YAH-MAH-TOH!" Yamato ALMOST
taps out, but he continues to fight... Tange jumps up on the
apron with the towel, but Yamato screams "NO!" Even
referee Yoshiyuki Okano's face shows concern for Yamato... Yamato
slowly inches his was closer and closer... AND FINALLY GRABS THE
BOTTOM ROPE! The hot Kawasaki crowd EXPLODES in cheers and
applause! Ramsey wastes no time however, as he drags Yamato back
to the middle of the ring, and applies his dangerous Figure Four
Leg Lock! The screams of Yamato echo through the lot as Tange
jumps back onto the apron with the towel. Okano gets right down
in the thick of things and tells Yamato he will stop the match if
he doesn't escape... Yamato doesn't even respond to Yamato, all
that is on Yamato's face is the clear expression of pain! Okano
leaps up and screams for Tange to throw in the towel. The young
rookie seems undecided, but also shows much concern for his
sensei. Okano screams, "TANGE!!!" Yamato lets out one
more last scream, which causes Tange to automatically react by
throwing the towel in! The gong sounds and the match is over!
Ramsey makes his successful V3 defense!
Winner: "The Superstar" Jason Ramsey
Time Of Match: 27:38
Finishing Move: Figure Four Leglock > TKO (Corner Stoppage)

The crowd exploded after the match, with chants of
"RAM-SEE!! RAM-SEE!!". Both wrestlers were down, ring
attendants aiding them with towels and canned air. Tetsuo Tange
entered the ring, checking on his sensei. After a minute or two
both were on their feet, the crowd giving them another standing
ovation. They met center-ring, Yamato favoring his leg, before
shaking hands to the applause of all 9,000+! Ramsey also shook
hands with Tange, as well as Tanaka-san, who handed him the
Golden Crown, Ramsey thrusting it into the air to some more
cheers. Tange and Ichiro Tsuji helped Yamato out of the ring,
Tanaka-san getting the microphone once again. He congratulated
Ramsey, who respectfully bowed to him. Tanaka-san once more
thanked the crowd for coming, as more fireworks shot off, much to
the crowd's delight. Tanaka-san then left, the show ending with
Ramsey holding the Golden Crown high.
