version 1.01d is a a powerful synthesizer
librarian with easy to use database
features which gives you an instant
access to your sounds. The functions that
are included are: store banks of patches
to your hard drive, send and receive
banks from your synths, view your patches
on the screen, stores all your patches in
a single library for fast retrieval,
offers a fast way of classifying sounds,
instant audition of the patches, direct
access to patches names in Cakewalk
tracks, each sound can be described by a
patch card, search your patches not only
by name but also by a comment or the
category it belongs to or its origin,
personalize your classification, define
your own categories, automatic detection
of duplicated patches when storing banks
in your library (even if the names are
different), manage several synths at the
same time, and automatic detection of the
synth when opening a library or a bank.
SoundLib supports more than 17 synths
including: Casio: CZ101, CZ1000; Ensoniq:
ESQ-1, ESQ-M, SQ-80, VFX, VFX-SD, VFX-SD
II, SD1, TS10, TS12; Kawai: K1, K1m, K1r,
K1 II, K3, K4; Korg: M1, M3R, T1, T2, T3,
Wavestation (SR, A/D...), 0 series (01W,
02W, 03W...), X serie (X2, X3, X5...);
Waldorf: Microwave; Yamaha: DX7, DX7 II,
and more... It is compatible with
Cakewalk for Windows 2.0, 3.0, and
Cakewalk Audio Pro. This program was
designed for Windows 3.1 but will work
using Windows 95, 98 & ME. Follow the
instructions included in the zip file to
install this program.
