Interview
with Bahb [from Rock N Roll magazine, Dec edition]
ROCK N ROLL: How does
it feel to be a star, after only one album?
BAHB: it feels normal. i am used to being worshiped by the mindless.
Oh?
well, i have always been considered hot by the women, and the men
have always wanted to be me. i'm an awesome writer. i write all
the songs. then there is my amazing artwork. speaking of, i do the
artwork for all Ballistic Hairspray albums.
So i heard.
yeh, i'm amazing.
Tell me about Ballistic. What is your goal
with them?
"them"? i AM Ballistic Hairspray. i do it all. there is
no "them" it is all "me".
Sorry.
you better be, moron.
So, what is your goal, as Ballistic Hairspray?
BaH is there to ask the question "what if?" what if Trent
Reznor had dedicated his music to an large Muslim? what if Iron
Maiden had done techno? what if Slipknot didn't suck? what if Rammstein
was a college kid at home making all the music using his voice?
what if Marilyn Manson was inspired by Latin music instead of Rock?
BaH is there to explore regions people are to stupid to explore.
Tell us, Bahb, how long til you grace us with
another album?
as soon as i have enough songs for another album. i try not to bore
myself with one type of music. so i jump around a lot. and as soon
as i have enough of one type, i will release an album. i have four
songs done on the second Omar album, and one done of the third Omar
album. six songs done for my Rammstein cover album. etc.
More Omar albums?
yes, there will be in total three albums. the Omar trilogy. i will
try to space them out, have one or more albums released in between
the Omar albums.
What other genres of music do you want to
explore?
well, obviously various regions of techno and industrial, latin,
rap, easy listening, classical, rock, metal, goth. i want to cover
it all.
So you can speak to all areas of music listeners?
no. so that i can be the master of all genres.
Everyone wants to know... do you hate Muslims?
no, just one.
Omar?
no, Al-Haaj Ghazi Khankan. yes, you dumbass, Omar.
What do you say to people who accuse you of
just being a new Weird Al?
i'm so much better than Weird Al. i took what he does and improved
upon it.
So, you are the master of the music world?
not just the music world. i am also the master of the art world,
the writing world... hell, i am the master of the world, period.
There you have it readers, Bahb, singer/musician
of Ballistic Hairspray, and master of the world. pick up his album
"Closer to Omar."
