:~: comedy challenge :~:

Are you the next Alan Bennett, Jane Austen or Aaron Sorkin? More likely than not - you aren't- but hey, we can aspire to be something greater, can't we.

Have you got a talent for comedy, love writing fanfic, but are you suffering from the dreaded Writer's Block (a la Sam dans 'The Portland Trip')?

I have the solution for you here. Basically, try and put all the things in the list below into a fic, then e-mail it to me at annadelamico@yahoo.co.uk and I'll put it on my website.

Challenge #1 19/11/01

This fic must:

- be set on a Saturday, quite late at night

- include the staff being bored, but they don't want to go home

- have POTUS in Europe with Leo for an EU summit, so they are left to their own devices

- have Toby being left in charge and Josh being livid because he is supposed to be 'second in command'

- have an X-Files marathon on TV

- have CJ posing the question: "If you had to sleep with someone in the White House, who would it be?"

- have Ainsley feeling nauseous (explain why)

- have the unexpected arrival of Lord Marbury

- Josh & Sam discovering the secret tunnel out of the White House.

- Toby getting CJ drunk on a bottle of bourbon he finds in his desk drawer

- Josh & Sam getting locked in a closet (make of that what you will!)

.... and lastly, remember that this has to be a comedy - a parody of WW fanfic if you'd like, but make it amusing, if not nonsensical!
