What makes a good President?

Stabroek News published a letter from one of its readers proposing Sir S Ramphal as President and others as Cabinet Ministers.
I am aware that it is not considered "nice" to speak ill of the dead or those in prominent positions, but sometimes the truth must be told.
We cannot forget that Mr Ramphal served in two Ministries in the Burnham Cabinet - as Attorney General and as Foreign Affairs Minister. As such, he was part of the rigging process in our country, which entrapped and held us frozen without our rights for 28 years.
In fact, Mr Ramphal, if I am correct, was Attorney General when these iniquitous laws were drafted to ensure the first rigging of the election in 1968.
Really, would he make a good President?

Visited Buxton held meetings?

I have seen that many people in Guyana, many very respectable, taking the position that some form of shared governance would reduce crimes in our country. I don't know if the intention behind that line is to persuade people to support "shared governance" etc.
If those people are correct then this implies that the root of the crime situation is political and not social.
It also means that the PNC is behind the criminals. Maybe this has some truth since we know that since ascending to the top position in the PNC Mr Corbin visited Buxton and held some meetings.
If the above is true joint governance would only institutionalize crimes, corruption and bribery!
We would forever be lost.
Guyanese should contemplate this possibility.
