Aftershock is a group of local Alexandria bands. We are tied together by our love of music, a network of musicians, or a "band of bands". We arrange shows, help with equipment, and just try to help out in whatever way we can.

This all started Fall 2003, when founder, David Roth, had an idea to get all the local freshmen bands together. It originally started out as just a project to make a compilation cd featuring all the talent the class of 2007 has to offer. The idea sprouted into making a group, a brotherhood of the bands he associated with.

Under mutual agreement from the original three bands, Aftershock is co-headed, taking a representative from each band to help make decisions for the good of all. "By bands, for bands." is the quote that built the foundation of this little network. Keep look out for all these bands in the Aftershock brotherhood,because they can really wail.
