Sunshine + Puppies is my most emotional album, as it deals with the aftermath of losing my parents in 2013 and 2014. The songs were written from 2014-2016. I went back to recording in my basement, as I had upgraded my equipment to a 24 track digital Tascam. This album also boasts the most guest musicians I've ever had with 19. I got to work with members of local bands First Light and Beau Coup who I discovered as a teenager.
