• If you don't believe in Pinocchio, why be a liberal Pinocchioist? Why not be an apinocchioist? Why bother postulating about all the possible causes of nasal enhancement?
Likewise, liberal theology seems to be incongruous, oxymoronic or simply nonsensical.
• I've noticed that liberal theologians seldom originators of religious endeavors. They invade.
Harvard and Yale were founded by orthodox Christians and taken over by liberals. Methodism was a fundamentalist movement long after the departure of the Wesley brothers, then sacked by liberals; same with Lutheranism and many Presbyterian groups. Add American Baptists to the list.
I can't think of one institution of merit founded by liberal theologians.
