"Wait!" the young man tied in rope cried. "Think about what you're doing!"
"I have," replied the girl. "Unsettling, isn't it?" Audra pulled the rope tighter and Jim let out a blood-curdling scream as he felt his rib crack. He squirmed and cried as he stood in pain against the cellar wall.
Having become quite bored with Jim's pleas and cries, Audra held a stun gun to his chest and pulled the trigger. He screamed for a second and then passed out. "I'll be back to do that again after lunch," she said as she ascended the cellar steps.
For lunch, Audra had cooked up a nice bowl of pasta douced in mirin sauce and polished it off within five minutes. "Maybe I'll take a little snooze before I see him again," she said as she began to doze off. "Pasta makes me so sleepy..."
In the moment Audra's eyes closed, she caught a glimpse of someone standing in front of her.
In an instant, her eyes shot open and she sat up on her couch. "Who the hell are-" She looked at his face. "Jim?" Audra stood up, but immediately sat back down and clutched her belly. Pain surged through her body as if she had been electrocuted.
"Don't strain yourself, my dear," said the boy.
"How'd you escape?" The words were a struggle for Audra to get out. The pain was increasing.
"I think my brother, Jim can explain," he said as Jim walked into the room.
"Thank you, Freddie," said Jim. He glared down at Audra.
"Twins?"
"That's right, Audra," started Freddie.
"Don't you know twins have elite communication skills with one another?" explained Jim. "When one's in danger..."
"The other knows," finished Fredddie.
Audra's pain started to become unbearable and she cringed into a fetal position on the couch as she groaned.
"What's wrong, Audra?" asked Freddie. "Could you have used too much mirin in your sauce?" He held up the bottle of rice wine in front of her face.
"Gee, Freddie, maybe you shouldn't have put so much anti-freeze into it. Someone could get sick," Jim said with a grin on his face.
Audra stopped fighting the pain and finally siccumbed to the deep sleep. "Looks like I've finally met my makers..."
