The Candyscapes

"Give it to me, Lars," said Kyle. "Just give me the damn thing!" Kyle held his hand out, expecting Lars to be intimidated and frightened by his seniority, and give him the gun.
"I can do it," Lars claimed, nervously, as he clutched to the gun with sweaty palms. "Please let me do it, Kyle. I can do it, really"
"Alright!" he shouted. "Do it fast, then!" Lars cringed at the angry tone of Kyle's voice. So did Sam, who stood beside Lars.
"Give him a second, ok?" said Sam as she put her hand on her little brother's shoulder."Go ahead, Lars, take your time."
Kyle sighed loudly and slicked his hair back from his face. "Come on. The guy's not going to be down there for much longer. You think he's gonna wait around for you to get the sac to shoot?"
"This is my first time, ok?" Lars snapped. "The guy you got really went to pieces. I nearly regurgitated my lunch!" He gripped the gun close like a child with a security blanket. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and locked target.
"C'mon, Lars," Kyle said, supportingly. "Both eyes open..."
Lars kept his eyes on the man at the table below.
"Put your elbow in a little..." said Sam.
Concentrate..."
Lars aimed at the blue tie wrapped around the man's neck.
"Breathe, and..."
Lars's trigger finger tensed with insane anticipation.
"FIRE!"
Lars shut his eyes at the moment the bullet left the barrel. His whole body tensed, expecting a loud shot to ring out. He opened his eyes, remembering the silencer. He looked up to Sam and Kyle, who were leaning over the edge of the skyscraper rooftop.
"Woah," said Kyle in awe. "Good shot."
"Hardly any blood at all," Sam observed.
Lars slowly peered over the edge of the rooftop and found his target headless and splattered against the building behind him. "Hardly any blood? What're you talking about?" Lars's face grew pale.
The two siblings laughed. "We only wanted you to see your handy work, Lars. Don't get all bent out of shape," explained Kyle.
"Alright, my turn," announced Sam ans she whipped out her arsinal.
"Kids," called a voice out of nowhere. "Time for dinner!"
"Awe, man!" Kyle and Sam whined as they removed their helms.
Lars took off his helm and the scenery disapated and they were all back in the game room at home. "Thank goodness," he sighed. "That game's too real for me."<"Man, and it was my turn, too." said Sam.
