In 1929 Pope Pius XI conceded to the Nation State of Italy all of the lands and territories formerly seized by his predecessors, the Popes of Rome, dating as far back as 750 AD, and ADMITTED OPENLY that the Donation of Constantine was INDEED a Hoax. To this day, even the Catholic Encylcopedia states this document is a FORGERY!

Why would the Popes of Rome give up so much POWER? Had they had a sudden change of heart? For over a thousand years the Popes ruled Rome as Emperors, and had created the most powerful Church State the world has ever known, then, suddenly, they give up this power to a Fascist Dictator, Mussolini! Some might try to paint the Catholic admittance of the spurious nature of the Donation of Constantine as an act of contrition, however, the real truth is far uglier. Here is what one scholar stated concerning this event:

"For his despicable role in delivering the Italian nation into the bloody hands of Benito Mussolini, Pope Pius XI (1922-1939) received considerably more than Iscariot's thirty pieces of silver -- the equivalent of $80 million ($500 million in today's dollars) and restoration of the Papacy's temporal sovereignty in Vatican City -- under the terms of the Lateran Treaty of 1929. Thus had the Church progressed from the avaricious harlot of the Caesars to the contemptible whore of "Il Duce". Pius and his successors would exploit this latter-day "Donation of Constantine" to create a "Vatican Bank", effectively beyond the reach of any regulation by secular authorities, and hence uniquely suited to the nefarious work of tax evasion and money laundering in which it later became enmeshed."

It is quite clear that the Roman Church was not giving up any real POWER, but had traded "one donation" for another donation. The Donation of Constantine had served it's purpose, Rome no longer needed it, they now had REAL and DOCUMENTED power of State, given to them from the hands of an evil dictator! After over a thousand years, to whom did the Roman Church decide to turn over the Roman Empire? To a dictator, who, years later joined hands with Adolf Hitler to exterminate the Jewish race from the face of the earth! The true nature of the Roman Catholic Papacy was being revealed. The nature of the BEAST.

I point all of this out only to answer those who would try to make the Catholic confession of forgery into some benign act on their part! The Catholic Church has lied to mankind for centuries, and this ONE ACT of admission on their part does NOT excuse all those years of lying, especially when they had SO MUCH to gain financially and politically by ADMITTING the "error of their ways" at the convenient time which they chose!

OTHER FORGERIES EXPOSED

The real issue set before our readers now is NOT the forgery of the "Donation of Constantine." We here couldn't CARE LESS about it! What we do care about is what this forging of documents MEANS to those who try to legitamize the Catholic Church and those documents that have come down to us from antiquity THROUGH the Church! They are PROVED LIARS AND FORGERS! Their credibility is GONE and anyone who gives CREDENCE to ANYTHING that is said by these liars are deceiving THEMSELVES!

The most STARK truth about the documents of Lorenzo Valla is NOT that he refuted successfully the document known as "The Donatio," but that Valla destroyed the CREDIBILITY of Catholicism. Valla also cast doubt on the accounts of the virgin birth, and on the teachings concerning Christ as GOD INCARNATE! What should truly astonish anyone is that modern scholars all admit that Valla was RIGHT about the Donation of Constantine being a forgery, but then reject OUT OF HAND everything else he said about the other forgeries!

We submit to you all, here and now, that if Lorenzo Valla was correct about the Donation of Constantine than he MUST be right about the other changes to the Nw Testament documents! This is COMMON SENSE!

Here is a direct quote from Lorenzo Valla that will surprise many of you, because it reads like a paragraph from one of the articles found here at TwoWitnessesUs.com:

"I neither disparage admiration for the saints, nor do I deny their divine works, for I know that faith, as much of it as a grain of mustard seed, is able even to remove mountains. Rather I defend and uphold them, but I do not allow them to be confused with ridiculous legends. Nor can I be persuaded that these writers were other than either infidels, who did this to deride the Christians in case these bits of fiction handed out by crafty men to the ignorant should be accepted as true, or else believers with a zeal for God, to be sure, but not according to knowledge, men who did not shrink from writing shameless accounts not only of the acts of the saints but even of the mother of God, and indeed of Christ himself, nor from writing pseudo-gospels." [151-3]

The truth, ladies and gentlemen, is the truth. The Popes of Rome are PROVED forgers of documents, and since the Greek New Testament came from those self same "authorities" we have NO CHOICE but to admit to ourselves that (at least elements) of those documents are NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

Therefore, do we discard them completely? God forbid! Rather, we should read them with the clear light of spiritual truth, leaning on the Holy Spirit of God for our guidance, and WEIGHING THEM AGAINST THE CLEAR LIGHT OF THE OLD TESTAMENT, which is a source beyond reproach! These things we have always strived to do and will continue to do as the DAY of ATONEMENT draws nigh at hand!

Look to your hearts dear readers. Are you going to TRUST the word of FORGERS and LIARS, or are you going to rather lean even more heavily on the guidance of the Holy Spirit and your FAITH in Yahshua Messiah as the GOOD SHEPHERD!

This discovery is NOT a disaster for truth, it is a VICTORY for the same, because we NOW KNOW of a CERTAINTY that the only source of TRUTH is the Holy Spirit, and that knowledge will cause us to lean on Yahweh's guidance even more and more. That is NOT a bad thing! We rejoice at these new findings and at what the mean to those who seek the truth! Yahweh does not want us to RELY on the teachings of men, or the "good word" of scholars and historians, for all men are LIARS, and ONLY YAHWEH tells the truth! We should rely ONLY on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth. Thus, the ERRORS and LIES that have been ADDED to the Gospels, and The Acts, and The Epistles will NOT escape OUR detection!
